I pay Halo ALOT and i love this game. However I was playing yesterday and i quit ONCE and lost connection a couple of times. Banned for 4 hours! Today I quit once and lost connection right at the end of the game after we won and Now im banned for 9 Hours !!! This is my last day off work for a while, what gives? I hardly ever quit ( easily less than 5% of my games). My Internets fine what gives? Who can i contact about this?
Seriously im all for banning quitters but i plead not guilty!!!
Just checking my stats there. I have actually had 6 DNF’s in the last 4 Days (around 60 games). And i’ve now been banned twice. Pretty sure 4 of those were a dropped connection server side. This sucks. I’m 41 years old and get limited time to game…
Edit: Just gone through my last 160 games I’ve quit 4 times when we were down at least 1 man and 15 points and the rest are disconnects (6) ( you can see this as the game was either very close (45-47 for example) or the game was over ( you can see by the score (50-45 for example).

Yeah sorry, just joking there. I think if i remember one game started uneven and the other we had a couple drop out early on. I mean ban hammer for quitters fair enough i hate it myself but this is a joke, I’ve played since the beta and always try to finish my games.

Im calling bullcrap. I quit like 5 games out of 380 and was banned 9 minutes and 38 seconds (rightfully so i may add). Theres no way you quit or lost connection 10 times and were banned twice for over a dozen hours total. You were doing something way worse you are not telling us.

I dont need to check anything when what your saying makes no sense. Besides theres no way to see if you are idling or betraying teammates unless i open every game you played and look at the stats. Im not going to waste my time with it. You were banned and rightfully so. If you cant do the time dont do the crime.

I have no idea why you are posting here same as how i have no idea why the countless other liars who come here daily do so. Literally there is at least one post a day here saying “i have never quit a game ever why am i banned” and we pull up their match stats and lo and behold they quit 10 games a day. So forgive me if i think you are full of -Yoink- like everyone else.

jeez, does nobody realize that taking a pic of the ban message saying that they were banned for connection loss might help? Otherwise everyone will assume you’re a quitter and trash talk you.

I have a hard time believing that disconnecting 10 times results in 2 bans of over 12 hours.

I know, but surely if OP was banned for ‘disconnecting’ then he’d be able to prove it by showing the ban message, otherwise it’s gonna be assumed that he’s full of it.

I didn’t think of that.
For fear of repeating myself I’ve played over 540 games of Arena since launch and quit easily less than 5% of my games. Even my last recorded game shows up as completed but i was banned after it. Clearly something’s up. I just wanted to play today but it looks like that’s a bust.
Nevermind looks like i’ll have to get some sun…or something.
