Hi there Halo community!
First, I’m french so please don’t blame me if my english is pretty simple and don’t take me as a newcomer, this account is a brand new one but I’m an Xbox Live player since day one (yes on the original Xbox)
So … I post here because tonight I had a problem on Halo: Reach, here is the -long- story:
-First, just want to do some Invasion with a friend (signed in as a guest)
-Next, first problem, when I tried to sign in with him it says something like “your console can’t connect to Xbox Live, would you like test your connection, all unsaved progress will be lost” (I said no). The problem is that I was online … But everytime
I sign in a guest it says that I’m not.
-So now, it took me back to the main menu because they’re not profile signed in (But I was with my guest?!)
-Then, because it said that no profile were sign in, I get the message where you launch the game for the first time (with Carter says “Hey Welcome to Noble Team blablabla … Are you a male or a female?” and gives you 5 000 cR).
-Ok, so when I came back to main menu, I signed again with my account only (GoC x DarkVeNoM, Gold account) and it said again “Welcome to Noble Team!” … And I lost all my options, configurations, Spartan look, colors, armor and Campaign progress BUT all my Multiplayer data and stats stills here! Armory completion still there to but my Spartan was return to Default Noble 6 armor (I had to re-equipped my equipement), with service tag 0000, random colors etc …
You can check my profile or my stats, I have 1700G on Reach so I completed the campaign, but now at the Campaign menu I can only select the Noble actual mission. It’s not a problem for me to start over the Campaign etc … But I’m just afraid that it will glitch my online stats or something like that. I thought that Halo’s savedatas are linked on the Xbox Live account and not on the HDD so I’m afraid to glitch or lost something. When I saw that, I decided to reboot the console and try again. And then, same thing, when I tried to sign in my guest it disconnected me from Xbox Live and Carter was back to welcome me to Noble team … Now everytime I try, it’s the same thing.
I’m a huge halo fan since the beginning and I wrote all of this to know if it can glitch something on my profile or service record because I don’t want anykind of “cheat” on it, all I do is legit. Is it serious? please answer me …

If anyone could help me please tell me. I post here for my problem but to let you guys know about this “glitch” too, if you can avoid it in the future, Halo community has to take care of each others.
Maybe 343i could read this … 343i, all my hope for Halo is in your hands, please create us some magic. Your are fans, and we are too, now Halo is yours, everything I saw since the announcement amazed me. Oh! … And … Please, don’t forget to make us something to do online (like commandations, high ranks etc … Things very very looooong to do! Make us dreams. =’]
