So today I load up Reach and only have Noble Actual under my campaign. Then it said welcome to Noble Team and I had a default Spartan, even though I am an eclipse with 100% armory completion. When I clicked on the armory it said everything was purchased but there were stars next to every item indicating its new. All my commendations are fine and my overall credits and everything. I was able to just re create my spartan and everything but I don’t know what to do about my campaign progress. Has this happened to anyone?
This is a recurrent glitch that has occurred since the release of Halo: Reach. None of your player stats or multiplayer history is lost, meaning that you need only change your preferences and embark upon completing the campaign. Many people, including myself, have fallen prey to this unexplained phenomenon. All I can suggest is to take comfort in the fact that the glitch arises relatively infrequently.

Out of curiosity – how does this glitch affect any saved media (maps, etc.)?
I just checked and it has no effect on that what so ever. Only the campaign, so it looks like I’m going to have to play through again

It happened to me a couple times too. Totally bummed out but just had to run through it again.
it happend to me. good thing you wernt in the middle of beating the game on legendary.

This happened to me as well and I didn’t lose my maps.
Happend to me on reach and halo 3 
… Smh half way through halo 3 on legendary again
