So I finished legendary with a bud last night coop online. I had just finished legendary the Spartan ops and that is AFTER I had finished ofc campaign in solo mode.
I wake up today and we get ready to do some achievement hunting before we go online for some matchmaking. Thing is that I try to pick a chapter so we can get the achievements and I realize there is NO option. I freeze for a while trying to take things in, go back, bring the list again… “PROLOGUE” option only. Restart account. Nothing. Restart console… Nothing. Restart everything and even clear cache… NOTHING.
Can someone PLEASE reply and let me know if they are aware of a fix on this? I am extremely disappointed and frustrated atm as im feeling I already lost one full day from my precious days off work -.-
As a sidenote in waypoint and all the mp unlocks I had and my xp gained from Spartan etc and item unlocks are there. Campaign and even when I tried to check from Infinity menu ingame ALSO reacted as if I visited it for the first time giving me the tutorials as in what to do in that mode and so on…
Like I said though, everything in there was still unlocked.
In waypoint also terminals are all locked except the first one that I just reopened. I tried playing the first chapter. I just gave up though half mission in. Im that frustrated. I thought of going through some more stuff and see what else is gone and whats still there. I hadn’t finished the achievement with all the terminals. I was missing the last one and now I only have the first I just reopened… so ALL the grogress I had that wasn’t based on the multiplayer bits of the game are gone.
Thing is I cant be -Yoinked!- again and complete Legendary coop which now is showing empty… Its really limited having such progress lost within less than 12 hours after you are done. ffs
Any progress? I have the same problem. Would like to add that any customisation I did is also gone. Armour/tags/load outs, etc. Have achievements but game acts like I never played before except for still having xp
Same problem. I loaded up the game and noticed my armor had reset, including losing my pre order bonuses. I rebooted and my pre order bonuses were back, but my armor, emblem, colours and load outs had still reset so I tried to go on campaign but my progess had all gone. The only thing not reset was my rank and what I unlocked with the level up points. Does anyone please know how to fix this problem?
Hope they provide soon some feedback since on Waypoint thread they either ignore or cant handle the constant repeats of same issues. This particular with wiped campaign wipe hasn’t really been addressed or even recognized by 343i as it seems.
You guys go in that thread and mention you have the same issue in case it goes through quicker ty and gl to us all -.-

Even if this really had a chance of being the case it cant be since I was hosting the coop campaign that we finished in a single session on Legendary with a friend neither would it have wiped my solo progress as well.

This didn’t happen to me, however the game did reintroduce me to itself when I put my LE edition disc in. Which made me panic for a second. Is it still messed up? Check your save data on your xbox to see if it may be corrupted? (I forget how to check this for corruption, I think it may tell you)
This may have occured if you turned your xbox off during saving.
I’ve only experienced a couple issues so far, 1) When I did mission 1 and 2, I quit the game thinking that it autosaved. I came back only to see that Waypoint had not kept any progress for those 2 missions. I use “save and quit” ever since.
Another issue is that I finished the 2nd mission, this time on Legendary difficulty, for my 2nd playthrough but my Xbox had disconnected from Xbox Live without me noticing. Waypoint again didn’t track down the mission completion so I had to replay it, this time connected on XBL.
These are just minor issues, I was either lucky enough not to experience something like you have, or you were very unlucky. Nonetheless, I hope 343i can do something to repay the trust and dedication of all the good members (don’t take me wrong, they’ve given us the best game ever and I love them for that)

To check the corrupted save it indicates in the HDD when you check it with a (!) next to it. Wasn’t the case. And no, I know better than turning off a console etc while its saving. I was playing online matches and was fully done with in the menus when I turned it off. Anyhow. If it was that simple I’m not the kind of dude to deal with forums ^^

Same thing happened to me: Booted up Halo 4 Infinity, got the introduction video again and then found that my armor, loadouts, and controller settings had reset. Also, I have allegedly found 0 out of 7 terminals, and although I’ve completed the campaign solo legendary I can only select the prologue.
I’d also really appreciate it if 343 would at least acknowledge the issue and tell us if there is a fix.
