If I am winning a warzone game and my connection fails why do I still get the loss stat? This is not fair how can I appeal?
Because otherwise it would be open to abuse. Players could simply disconnect their wifi or pull their cable if they are losing so they don’t take a loss. There is no way to appeal
What if the team you are on is winning and does win but you get disconnected should the game just award you the win to be fair and you get disconnected and your team loses then you get the loss?

If you lost connection before the round ends, that’d be considered a DNF (did not finish) at that point. You’d still lose out on XP and RP rewards.

Thats not what the OP is talking about. Why should you take a loss when your team wins? How can it be abused if you’re winning?
How many people do you think would just quit out to go play another game? They’re winning, probably going to win, so just quit / disconnect and be into a new match quicker and rank faster. People honestly would do something like this if they could get away with it, this is the kind of thought that needs to be out into these kinds of systems. Explore every possible angle that people could take advantage

How can they rank faster if they don’t get xp. You miss out on RP and XP and your boost doesn’t get used up. Pretty sure everyone who is winning would stay and win, but few times the game somehow freezes on an Xbox one x and you take a loss even if you were top contributor in your team. In what way is it fair. The game already cheats you of wins by having join in progress where you join the losing team when their core is vulnerable.
This is something 343 can address and make it count as a win.

Your time would be better spent working on your network so you don’t lose connection.
