Loss of server mid game

Is wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Half way through a game the server crashes while mid game. Particularly when respawning or just randomly drops then freezes at the warzone menu page.

It happens now and then, bit of a pain but nothing to write home about.

If it keeps happening check a site like down detector for Halo it may give you an idea of whether it is happening to others frequently in your area. If so take a break it will probably continue for a bit.

I have a couple of recommendations:

Go wired, with an open NAT
Try the following settings on your router configuration:

  • Give the xbox a unique assigned IP address. - Turn off automatic UPNP - Create a port forwarding rule for the ports required to use XBL
  • Port 88 (UDP) - Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) - Port 53 (UDP and TCP) - Port 80 (TCP) - Port 500 (UDP) - Port 3544 (UDP) - Port 4500 (UDP)4. Select the XBOX One as the Host for the above ports
    I also quit out of the game when I finish.
