Loss not counted when joining in a losing game.

If you read the title, this should be added into Halo 5 especially with Warzone. I am sure most of you would be placed in a losing team and when you lose, it counts as a loss. I know some of you are going to say “Stick with the game” or “Git Gud”, but most of the games that you’ll join is usually teams that are getting farmed and have no way to counter it. Adding a loss not counted when joining in progress would not only decreasing your win/loss ratio, but also making Warzone more fun rather than making it less fun when you are joining in a losing team.

If you are reading my game history, yes I’ve quit those matches because I was placed into a team that was getting farmed.

The worst is when everyone from your team leaves and that still counts as a loss for you.

I believe that this is a good mechanic. I know this is halo, but Black Ops 3 has such a mechanic that if you join a match in progress and lose, the match doesn’t count towards losses. As well, in Halo Reach, if you were abandoned by your entire team and you decided to stick it out, you would be rewarded with insane amounts of xp. Back when halo reach was popular I played a match of invasion in which I was the lone man left on my team and all that happened to me was getting spawn killed by nades and sometimes getting made kills of my own and I remember getting tens of thousands of xp points. I think either of the methods I mentioned would be a good method for joining in progress or having your entire team leave.

Couldn’t agree more with this!

Nothing is worse than going a game of warzone when your team is already down 200+ points.

Granted a bit of smart play and a warden takedown would balance it out but as you said, chances are its a farming game and you’re just replacing someone that dropped out for that exact reason. I really hope 343i do this!

Joined a game (solo) not too long ago where we were down 600-150 (or thereabouts). Yeah, not cool. Oh, and we were triple-capped. And, no, we didn’t destroy the enemy core.

I’m okay with that.

Still don’t want to talk about all those DNF’s?
