Has anyone experienced a constant losing streak when playing team-based games? I sure have and the only reason I can conclude to is the fact that I solo-queue on team based games.
I just wish that 343i adds a solo-queue playlist on team-based games so solos don’t have to deal with full fireteams or add a filter system where let’s say I’m partied with someone and the system will more likely put my party of 2 with 2 randoms on each team and another party of 2 on the opposing team. It may not work but at least 343i can test it and see the results.
I used to play Team Arena solo quite regularly but recently I found my ‘teammates’ leaving either at the start or mid way. Giving us no chance to win.
If you quit the game, your rank gets a chunk taken out of it, and if you’re 1-4 and lose badly, you lose a chunk of rank. Which is rediculous. So no I don’t go near it unless I have friends online.

If it has enough players to support such a noble thing, I agree. Halo 5 definitely has not enough players to do that and I’d rather play a bad match than the waiting game.

Well if H6 is a good Halo game, it will be able to do this for quite a long time. Once it starts to get hard to find games, it can resorted back to what H5s MM is.

We’ll never know the current population. Even if it’s low, how about they’ll just add a solo queue playlist on team-based games just to test it out lets say a week to see if it’s successful or not.
Everyone experienced a loosing streak once or twice or all the time in my case. I don’t think a fireteam search would exactly work but I would like to see that implemented in halo 6

on a monday afternoon I takes ages to find matches in btb or triple t, sometimes I don’t find any at all. You wan’t to divide the non existent population even more by doubling every arena team playlist? There’s no need to test this, it would fail
If skill-based matchmaking was able in reality to produce the results that it’s designed in theory to produce, then team size would be irrelevant. Skill-based matchmaking should actually be called “Best Guess with a Thirty Second Time Limit in a Low Population Environment matchmaking.”
Ideas like this would have been perfect at launch and would have kept the population at healthier levels. It really seems strange that the majority of solo games I play are against parties team based or not.
I felt the aim was off today. Don’t know if it was me but I just couldn’t land magnum and battle rifle shots like normal. Maybe I need a new controller.

Well now it looks like we’re better off advocating this for Halo 6 at launch.

Yeah. Judging from the replies, it all looks like 343i is gonna probably add something like I proposed for Halo 6 at launch. A lot of stuff we are proposing for to stabilise the population are far better off being in at Halo 6 when it releases.
