So I swear I was Onyx 1890 and after I won a match, I dropped to Onyx 1874. Why did I go down in rank after a win? My team won again someone that was in the Champion tier as well. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.
Rank has almost always been performance based. Maybe you didn’t do as good as others in the game.

rank in halo 5, after your qualifying matches, is entirely win loss based.

Rank has almost never been performance based. The ONLY exception is Halo 4.
