Title says it all. I lost 2 whole ranks tonight because my teammates were TERRIBLE. even though I would go positive, I still lose rank. As you know, it takes way many more games to raise rank than to lose rank, especially after a ton of losses. Shouldn’t your kdr play at least some part of keeping your rank? I shouldn’t be branded a scrub because randoms suck…literally all of them, I can’t believe how many bad players there really are…why can’t I get on the team against them!. It never fails. There has to be SOME compromise. Two ranks…that’s like 20 wins. I know…get a team, but I just don’t got a lot of friends on xbox anymore. The ones I do have, play that destiny crap. I also play at odd times.
I just don’t want to get shafted because of other people. I thinks wins should effect an objective playlist, but not regular slayer. I’m playing as hard as I can, finally going positive as I get used to the mechanics. I don’t want to be limited to only playing when I have a full team, waste time looking for teams, or stuck playing warzone all the time.

I’ve been having the same problem. Until 343 does something about the ranking classes in H5, then it looks like we’re going to just have to suck it up and hope we get on a team that has good players. I’ve been stuck between Platinum 1-3 for a while now because I ended up losing due to terrible teammates.
I understand it is frustrating, but it isn’t like the rankings really mean anything. Those who put all their faith in what many feel is a broken ranking system need to reconsider how they are defined in this game. My rank and KD don’t define me. Whether I play a good game and to the best of my ability does.
Rank means nothing. It is just a way to match people in a broken matchmaking system.
