I’m starting to notice a disturbing trend. Players have been hiding out in the back during warzone assault to purposely lose and get a quick 1200 in req points. Not cool people.
you just noticed that, it’s been happening since day 1
Sooner or later, everyone gravitates to a state of maximum efficiency. It sucks, but what more can you expect from a system that rewards you just for showing up?

And the captain obvious award goes to AngryBuda
It happens and there’s really nothing that you can do about it except report them.
Yeah it became really popular about a month after launch and 343 had to start punishing those players. Just report them if you see them. They risk losing all their req points and getting banned.
Man, all my games the Attackers are major try hards while my team had just picked up the game after some massive head trauma…
I understand the Warzone gametypes are supposed to be “social”, but the unbalanced games are so -Yoink!- real it hurts.
The general consensus is to let the Attackers capture the first two without killing Defenders so they have a low REQ level and not a lot of time when they get to the core.
Don’t care for WA, but it sounds like a strategy.
Well yeah it get’s really frustrating. Just report them if you see suspicious activity… lol

that my friend would be about 75% of WA players
Because A, people are bored with the constant competitive game modes. B, they need another mode other than regular Warzone in which to farm Req points so they don’t have to end up dropping over $200 in req packs. And C, this is what happens when you don’t have a firefight mode in a game. In Reach, firefight was not only fun, but it awarded a decent amount of credits for leveling and armor purchases.
The lesson here: Learn from Reach.
We need to be of the shoot people like these on our own teams
I always do my best, but I don’t shed any tears if we’re stopped at the first base. Assault is the best way to grind RP, but it’s rarely actually fun to play.

same for me - i play to win, but if my team looses i hope it’s right at base 1, because I shed (manly) tears, when stopped at the core

I actually like assault now. I was grinding for RP at the start but now I find myself playing more of assault than anything else.

Same. It seems I’ll actually get to use my DMR too instead of actual Warzone.

true. I think in one of the updates they made req leveling faster in assault because it’s such a shorter match. which makes for more fun imo because if you end up back at the core, then you pretty much have level 7 or 8 reqs to play with.
