Am i the only one or does it kinda hurt that thry gonna stop supporting the halo’s on 360? i mean halo on 360 was like heaven to me, i enjoyed every single second playing halo on the 360. halo on 360 is a part of me and i still play it and enjoy it as much as i enjoyed it when it just came out. what do you guys think about 343 stopping supporting halo on 360 end this year?
Really mixed feelings about it, even when it was expectable. What about playing MCC and creating some good memories too with it? The UI, the feel of the controller is different compared to the 360, something else and the nostalgia won’t hit you as hard booting up the system with the 360 logo at first. But maybe we’ll get “new” players to MCC and H5, having everyone under one roof, a bigger playerbase, you know?
its normal with the MCC there is no reason for support the old versions
At this point my 360 barely works anymore and I can’t find matches for halo4 so I guess no real issue for me
I don’t know if this necessarily belongs in the Halo 5 forums, seems more of a general topic but eh,
I’m not really hurt or shocked. Halo 3 would have about almost 14 years of Xbox Live play by the time the Halo 360 servers get shut down. That’s an incredibly long time. With a tiny population of people playing the game its probably costing them more to keep it running that it’s worth.
All good things must come to an end eventually. Luckily we have MCC, it’s not like those games are going away forever. May not be the originals but it’s a compromise.

Nothing. It’s time to let go. The MCC is now the place to play those games, like it or not.
Neither MS nor 343i will continue to cater to the few players which are left.
