Losing connection from the game after quitting

Didn’t have enough room in the title so here it is:
I quit an infection game (yes, I know it’s bad, but I wasn’t an infected anyway so I didn’t f*** over the other infected) due to the fact that I was playing like absolute s***. But then I start up another game (team arena) and play through the whole game, but at the end I lose connection. Which causes me to get banned for 2 hours
Why is it guaranteed that I will lose connection in a match after quitting the previous one? This has happened before whenever I quit a match, it’s like 343 doesn’t want me to play >:(

Solution: Don’t quit even if you’re sucking

That’s how the system works. Once you quit enough to get a ban younusually get to play one more game and after that game you get DC (but still get credit for finishing) then serve your ban. Like someone above said. Don’t quit

I see, thanks for the replies. I don’t normally quit tho, it just annoys me when I lose connection from the game after the one I quit

Yea that’s how the system works. It’s intentional. The game sees no reason to keep you on the server since it has a nice ban for you to serve. Plus he DC does
not affect the game you just finished

You lost connection after the game because the Banhammer disconnected you for quitting the game before… Liike others have said this is how the system works. You don’t quit you don’t get Banhammered! 2 hours isn’t that bad.
