Having your whole team quit on you in a ranked game is pretty annoying. If half or 3/4ths of your team quits you should be able to quit without any penalties.
We all feel the same/ been there.
343 isn’t going to make this a thing though.
You can quit without any penalties if you’re talking about one or two matches in the course of a night. If the problem goes deeper than the odd match or two then it’s time for you to get with a Spartan Company and play with reliable people.
If 25% or more of the team quits in any game modes the game should end.

why don’t you link your real account to waypoint. It says you have zero games played.
i went a week where i was getting banned from arena every day. I kept getting quitters and when we were getting span killed i really saw no point in staying.

Lies I left a match last night and was banned. One match, go look in my game history the last time I had a dnf before last night was during the Valentine’s day playlist lol I did NOT deserve to be banned it kinda peeved me to be honest.

True…in an effort to stop quitting, all the quitters and those who have done these infractions are banhammered. Hard.
Now, WHAT they are looking for I see could be good conditions for the Banhammer. Some things you cannot control, but still.
HOWEVER, for quitting ONE game today, I am currently banned for 24 HOURS…one .whole.day.
Now, I have caused some of these infractions, but mine have been very infrequent as a whole. I began quitting more games as of late due to familial reasons, but do not understand as to why in the heck ALL arena modes have such a ban feature. If you spawn in a game of either Grifball, BTB or Socal Grab Bag modes and tonight is not you night, I think you should not be banned for that. This didn’t happen before, and this is really ruining my experience with Halo.
They take away splitscreen, Elites, most of the game modes…servers are “crashing”, the REQ system goes down or I need to reset my game because some aspect didn’t load…you stress this being a multiplayer game, but seem to isolate what aspects made Halo a unique multiplayer game, butchering what makes Halo into…something else.
Now, mechanically, the game is mostly sound when it DOES run (which is most times), but I am really starting to lose faith…I love Halo as a game and series.
To be honest, I am seriously considering playing mainly Tom Clancy’s “The Division” instead of Halo, as the current environment of the Halo community is really close to why I disliked the COD community…such as some of the things below:
“Never quit!” (most of team leaves, or I cannot play due to familial reasons/have to go do something; get banned as a result)
“No HAXING/BETRAYING!” (as others glitch around the map in seemingly convenient timings, and keep killing me, but I cannot get a betrayal kick option…I mean, why GRIFBALL instead of other modes?)
“Play better, nebz” (Halo was both competitive AND social…not like COD’s arcade style ball of hatred)
“lol don’t sprint as much” (you guys added sprint, not us…it was implemented fine, so I am not sure why you messed it up for this iteration.)
And finally, deleting threads when convenient for you, such as the mass-banhammer thread which is now gone…and the reason I am speaking up.
Are you trying to punish us Social players who cannot get on as often for playing your game, 343?
