Losing attrition games due to terrible bots

Why are there still Marine level bots in online matchmaking? I just played a game where I was +6 K/D, and my two other real allies were both positive as well, but we still lost because our Marine-level bot ally died 17 times and got no kills.

@343 why do you think Marine level bots can compete with actual players? Even a mediocre actual person like myself can demolish the Marine and ODST level bots. Even the Spartan level bots I beat at least 75% of the time, so that is the minimum difficulty they should be in matchmaking.

I love that you thought to backfill missing players with bots, but why did you then ruin that idea by using the terrible easy bots that literally just feed kills to the other team?

Same for any game mode really, sucks when you have a challenge for wins as opposed to matches played too. Was losing my mind over the weekend tryna get 4 tactical slayer wins, something I thought would take an ~45 minutes turned into 2 hours and 30 minutes.
I guess in hind sight that would be a ‘normal’ amount of time but the amount of losses led to a ton of frustration on my part, specially since I just wanted the challenge done so I could maybe get an attrition one instead.
