Losing a loved one and a fellow spartan.

My name is Trent Morgan, or Destiny L0rd on xbox and i love to play halo MCC and guardians, i always play with my sister kyla until recently when she had died of liver failure and was not able to make it in time for a transplant, she was the one who got me the xbox one on my 18th birthday with halo the master chief collection and we played campaign and custom games and even slayer and she always managed to kick my butt until one day i beat her Par time on halo 2 cairo station. she got me halo 5 guardians and we always played warzone online for an hour before she picked up her 13 year old daughter from school. unfortunately all i have now are those memory’s of playing with her and managing to kick her butt in halo 5. she was going to be 37 on march 18th and was looking forward to what 343 had in store for E3 this year, she played halo 1 though 5 including ODST, Reach and even halo wars 1. whats the old saying? spartans never die or never walk alone?, i now have the halo community to help me through this difficult time in my life. rest in peace spartan Morgan. and thank you 343 for making a great game that has given me so many memories with my sister on halo.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May your sister rest well.

EDIT: I think the best way to honor her is to wear her exact same armor setup and colors every now and then.

Spartans never die is the quote.

As far as walking alone…MC is known as the “lone ranger” for a reason.

i know what the quote is, i’ve been playing since the original halo 3, i was just referring to an update in halo 5 were they made the first animated emblem honoring a fellow spartans daughters who died in fire and the update was also named" Spartans never walk alone"

I’m sorry to hear about your loss. She sounds like an awesome sister, and I’m sure she was lucky to have you as her brother as well.
As long as you hold your memories of your sister with you, you’ll never walk alone.

It always saddens me to hear things like this. I am extremely sorry for your loss and hope I don’t have to go through something like this for a long time. May your sister rest in peace.

Sorry for your loss Spartan.

The good memories hold close, let the rest slip away. She is no longer suffering the cruelties of life. Sorry for your lost.

Sorry for your loss. Hang in there.

Spartans never die recruit, they still influence operations simply by remembering their presence on the battlefield of life. Keep her spirit alive in you and you will see and feel her with you, because Spartans never die.

I truly sorry for your loss. But I think your loss is ours too.
We with you and your family. We know that it’s very hard but try to stay strong.
Some feels that if they dont feel the pain that such thing cause they will forget their beloved. But remeber that even if you let the pain “pass” - which takes a lot of time - that doesn’t mean you will forget your sister. She still be with you, in your memories, you hold dear.
I just send you one of the most beautil music, Halo has to offer: Never Forget.
I hope it will ease your pain a bit.

Sorry for your loss OP. My best friend passed away earlier from this year at 29. He had stage 4 pancreatic cancer which spread to other parts of his body. It was a rough couple of days since he was engaged to his GF of 5 years. At first I was angry and upset( I also had a friends wedding the same day of his funeral) but I asked what would my friend want me to do be upset or go be myself. Your sister will always be watching over you and rooting you on in Halo. Make her proud and kick some yoink.

Same birthday as my dad
Kan hon flyga till valhallahallen på valkyrens ständiga vingar.
May she fly to the halls of Valhalla upon the steady wings of the Valkyries.

I’m sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what that must feel like.

I’m sorry for your loss Spartan. I can’t possibly understand how painful it must be for you. Your sister will live on in all our hearts.

I wish I had a sister even half as great as yours was, R.I.P. Keep your niece close, spartan, be strong for her too.

Thank you for sharing your story with out community here, it is quite brave of you. For grief and fear walk hand-in-hand in darkness.

sorry for your loss, losing someone close to you always hurts and it is something you can never get used to

Spartans never die. I’m very sorry for your loss. May your sister rest in peace. <3

Spartans never die.
Your sister’s memory will live on through you each and every time you play. Next time you’re on, place a controller by an empty seat next to you and say to yourself this one is for you sis. You might be surprised how much relief you get from just doing something as simple as that.
You never will be alone. As you said, you have the gaming community and we have your back when you need us.
