Was wondering if you guys could help with a few questions? Appreciate any answers!

Is the Domain gateway on Genesis the only one we know of so far?

Is the Domain a Precursor construct or does it predate even then?

Are there any more Composers out there?

Were the "deep space anomalies in Hunt the Truth Season 1 Guardians moving through slip space or the Domain becoming active again?

Where has the Diadact been “contained?”

Do Covenant AIs go rampant? If so, do you think they would join Cortana?

As far we know, the Gateway facility on Genesis is the only major conduit facility
The Domain is a Precursor creation, known as the Organon
After John destroyed the Composer in Halo 4, in Escalation, there were 5 other Composers, which were destroyed as well. Unknown if there any others out there
Yes, the anomalies in HTT were indeed the Guardians activating once again
It’s unknown where the Didact has been ‘contained’ since his composition
I forget whether or not Covenant AIs get rampancy as well, wouldn’t be surprised

The Covenant don’t have AI. Well not any smart AI, they’re dumb and simple ones because the Covenant had a rule against imitating life.

  1. The gateway on Genesis is the only one we know about at this time
  2. The Domain is a Precursor construct, it has some level of intelligence and self awareness. it was believed to have been destroyed by the Halo array however new information suggests it was damaged into a catatonic state or fractured in some way rather then being totally destroyed.
  3. All known composers where destroyed and the “Composer’s Forge” was heavily damaged.
    4.The anomalies where probably related to the Guardians but they could also be due to side effects of the Domain preparing itself or actions taken by Cortana
    5.the Didact was simultaneously hit by 5 composers and was digitalised shortly before the Composer’s Forge was damaged, his current status is unknown Chief claiming it would be wisest to label him contained rather then neutralised.
  4. Covenant AI are a lot simpler then UNSC smart AI like Cortana, Rolland, Iona and BB. some even have more animal like behaviours. its possible they could be subjugated by Cortana but they don’t seem to be the types to seek her out.

Actually, they do have artificial intelligence. If you have it, read the book Halo: First Strike. Or just look it up on Halopedia.

The AI in First Strike is a portion of a captured Human AI that was copied a bunch of times and used by the Covenant. So not a Covenant AI. Nice try though, I knew someone would bring that up

Eh, I try my best, it’s not like the Halo lore is easy to understand after all. Portions of it is, and a lot of it isn’t.

While yes you are correct, it does not mean all Covenant AI are that way.

There is no evidence of that.

There was also the one from CEA terminals. No indication on its origin though.
