Man, you guys. I can NOT express how I LOVE, capitol L-O-V-E, LOVE to retrieve data. Sometimes, in a game, I get to go the WHOLE thing with nuttin but a good ol’ AR and sweet snippin Magnum. No REQs, no nuthin. If that ain’t a blessin then you musta put your socks on backwards. Also, after a game sometimes, I don’t even have to bother looking at the vague after action report, because it won’t even load for me! Instead I get to just watch that spiny circle spin for the entirety of the post game intermission. You must be Halo Hater if something like this don’t just fill ya up with glee. But here’s the best thing of all; sometimes, if them stars are aligned you can finish a game, not have the after action report load, not be able to back out while it’s attempting to load, and as soon as the intermission is over since can’t no one leave the game you get loaded right back into ANOTHER game dang near instantly with ALL them same people! I even tried to leave as soon the intermission ended but it knew I needed to keep playing with the same people and wouldn’t let me! And that happened 3 times in a row! I thought about quittin but lord knows that banhammer and to be messed with. He’ll ban you longer than a crocodile. So I just endured and endured, and finally, I done did THUR-OW my Xbox out the window. It’s great when things work out the way they 'spose to.
you know after the game, when instead of getting post game material you got the retrieving data message, you could hae just quit and restarted the halo build, takes about 30-60 seconds…no longer then a normal intermission anyways… i would suggest playing btb or normal arena also that way you dont have to worry about other having vehicles while you get shafted with just an AR

True, but that’s not a method always thought of I suppose. Plus you just shouldn’t have to… The game should be better… I’m having this same issue, and you can reset all you want, but my boosts won’t load Pre-game and that is honestly frustrating since I never play an Arena game without a boost.

idk i guess im lucky enough to only experience these issues once in a while, and im not a big warzone player anyways so not using req cards doesnt bother me as much
Retrieving data is so fun I don’t even want to play the game anymore!

Well that’s a total nonargument. Yeah, I could restart the game, or power cycle my xbone, but it doesn’t change the fact that the postgame report frequently fails to load.

Me too, 343 is easily better than Bungie for adding retrieving data. I retrieve data all day!

my only point was dont complain about being stuck in the same lobby with the same players when you DO have a way out. yes its not the way its suppose to be done, but at least you could have gotten out if you really wanted out that badly… its like crying and complaining you cant use the elevator to go down 4 stories so you just sit and wait an hour instead of just using the stairs. is it the desirable way? hell no who likes taking the stairs, but at least its an option

But that’s my point: yeah, taking the stairs is probably the better option here, but it doesn’t change the fact that the elevator was broken and it doesn’t change the fact that it really, really shouldn’t be. Just because you have a way to circumvent the problem doesn’t mean that the problem isn’t there.

That’s not a proper analogy. I’m being forced to exit the game in a way unintended. So that’s what your analogy needs to reflect as well.
In your analogy it makes me seem lazy by not wanting to take the stairs. I don’t mind the stairs. What you should have said was; It’s like crying and complaining you can’t use the elevator to go down 4 stories so you just sit and wait an hour instead of just opening the window and using a rope to rappel down. Is it the desirable way? Hell no who likes rapelling down, but at least its an option.
Also, when I’m with a team, it’s annoying to have to reassemble my squad after every game.

I’ve had spotty problems with it in general, a slight bit more so since the last update but today it has been every single game, for hours. My connection is fine, I’ve ran speedtest on other devices and am having no issue. I don’t understand why 343i can’t get the little things right with such an abundant amount of time to produce a game.

I wouldn’t go back to that game if I got paid, because whatever I would be getting paid still wouldn’t be enough to pay for the DLC that you NEED to be a high level.
You guys do realize that this is more than likely due to the interruptions in XbL services, not necessarily 343i, right?
