Loosing my Points and armor.

I recently got X-Box live, and upon entering Halo:Reach (A game that i have spent months on getting the armor and points) it gave me a message saying that i would loose over 50,000 of my points, but my bank said i had only 32,000, assuming the worst i thought that meant it would eat my armor aswell, so i canceled the update, but to my surprise, whenever i played in game, i had default armor on, but my armory still stated i had my favorite Green EOD helmet on.
Whats the deal with that?
I said “No” to the update but it still ate all of my stuff for in game playing.
I need help, urgent help.

First off, welcome to Waypoint. :slight_smile:

Secondly, you should edit your post and remove your email address, for your own safety of course. And if you’re talking about recently joining Xbox Live then the game takes away a set amount of credits to eliminate potential boosters who get to a high rank offline then sign up for Gold.
