No joke. I ALWAYS get thrown into lost cause games where the score is just an absolute landslide and it wouldn’t matter if I was the best halo player to ever be born I wouldn’t win… and I am someone who genuinely cares about my W/L ratio.
I can go on and on about the JiP system and what is wrong with it…
yeah, that’s pretty good considering if no one joins in progress, then it would be 100% loss for whoever was outnumbered.

I just quit right away, f- that I’m not trying to play a game where I’m losing 100 to 500 (infinity slayer) waste of time and double xp, I don’t know if quitting counts as a loss but I’m going to lose anyway. It’s bs, I hate it when I get thrown into games like that.
I once joined a game and it literally ended 22 seconds later, and wasted a double xp token (cause I got like 100 xp) i mean WTH, I thought they had systems against that. That’s why I always quit most JIP now
They key is to not care about stats like that and just play the damn game.
God, I remember when we didn’t have stat tracking.
JIP is fine I 18-0’d a match I joined in the middle of.
JiP put me in a game with less than a min left and was losing by 25 kills.
That is why Win/Loss is pretty much useless anymore.
Kill/Death is all that really matters. And you can easily go positive in a losing game.

I’m not saying I loose 50% of my Jip games, I am saying I loose 50% of my games that I loose to a terrible Jip match-up…

On occasion, i do join these one sided matches only for the tide turn. I mean how the hell does the enemy you go from half winning to losing outright in mere minutes? That’s just sad lol (btw said team had two Mantis’s and a Banshee).
Of course, the more common occurance is when i join a game and the enemy team provides a challenge. Of course, the said challenge would more enjoyable if the others players could keep up with MLG like coordination and team shot. Since when did randoms ever start getting good at things like this? lol Most were not that coordinated in Reach wtf sans the full teams (which you would of right away in the lobby).
It’s crazy but at least trueskill is working when i am playing with friends (holy -Yoink- are the games really close. Like consistently so, not 500 games in between like Reach. Which makes it more fun for me x D)
Sadly though, my w/l has taken a dive because of bad JIP match pairings. My K/D is where it needs to be but damn i can’t control most of the matches i join lol. Despite that, i am not overly concerned about my stats like i was in Reach; it’s just something i couldn’t help but notice. I am still very much having fun with Halo 4.

I usually do good in the ones I get thrown in as well, that doesn’t mean I am going to win

If it is 50% of your games, then the other 50% of wins will balance it out. -_- A Net of 0.
I wish JIP games didn’t count to W/L, K/D and all those stats. I would purposely try to join in progress games because they wouldn’t matter.
If you ALWAYS get thrown into the middle of a game, you must ALWAYS immediately quit.
Try staying until the next game begins fresh.
The moment I notice it’s about to put me in a JiP I sign out or dashboard since it doesn’t give you the option to back out. There should be preferences like that of Reach and it would be nice to be able to turn off JiP.

Main part of any game is winning. Succeeding in a game is by all means the pinnacle goal. This means in FPS games getting a good K/D, in chess it means knocking out your opponents king in as few moves as possible.
I was watching my stats with friends long before we ever played online (decade ago).

I’d rather join a match and help a team out who’s down a man cause someone like you rage quit so they have a fair fight. It’s got some issues but they can be fixed, you arrogance however can’t. Sorry bud

Doesn’t it count as a loss anyway when you quit? So what’s the difference?

Yup, I have the same mindset, and there’s a lot of bks in this thread that only care about their own wins. Ive had so many 3v4 fights where, if we only had an extra, we would’ve definitely won. so I never hate when I join in progress
