In this shot from the Community Update it looks like Barrens and Depths are seemingly separate maps. Depths appears to be in the ocean, while Barrens(or Barren in the REQ sheet) is a much needed dedicated desert map. As a forger, this is fantastic and really helps round out the environment pool and actually fills in the much needed tools for a desert map and sand terrain pieces! I’m looking forward to the skybox options too!

Yes! I noticed that as well, and I am super excited to check them both out!
Barrens… I wonder if it might be a map based on glassed Reach?
Barrens reminds me of glassed Reach and im excited to see what people do with it.
