According to the latest Xbox Magazine (Feb. 2012) Frankie says in an interview for Halo 4 that “Certain Affinity will absolutely be working with us again. They’re a part of our family.” Certain Affinity started working on Halo mp maps since Halo 2 so I’m guessing they will return for future Halo titles aswell. So what does everyone think? And sorry if this has already been posted or is old news.
I think its good. Extra hands working on the project can really only help the game in my mind. They have previous Halo experience in the Maps making department. They did, Relic and Gemini? Did they not?
Extra hands with lots of previous experience is always good.
I think thats a great thing. They have made some great Reach maps in the past.
I’m not surprised. This way it’ll be easier for them to get as much quality work done as possible in a shorter space of time. They’ll probably do a map pack for Halo 4 like they did for 2 and Reach. They have a pretty good resume imo. Tombstone and Desolation from Halo 2, the Defiant Map Pack from Reach and most recently the Anniversary map pack.
They are definatleyexperienced I loved their reach map pack! They bring some great ideas to the table and I can’t wait to see what they could do for halo 4
Hopefully they get some of their maps on the disk next time around. I would have loved to have some of the DLC maps be default maps.
No. More. Gray. Maps. Hopefully Affinity can make good maps like they have in the past. Not this horrible gray… grayness that we have in Reach.
I don’t mind at all. In fact, I don’t think there’s a better team out there than certain affinity to work on halo maps. They’ve certainly got the experience to show for that.
Good. They’re passionate about their work, so they will no doubt dedicate themselves and make great content. Hopefully, their future maps will avoid frame rate issues.
Oh, this is excellent news! Certain Affinity has always made amazing maps since the good old days of when some of their employees were working on Halo 1. If anybody is to help work on Halo 4’s multiplayer maps, I’m glad that it’s these guys.
I am confident that Halo 4 will have good multiplayer maps and not be another Reach (lacking really good maps at launch).

Hmmm, typo? Lol
I can’t wait to see the maps with Halo 4, Certain Affinity has been pretty solid overall when it comes to maps.

Ah! Yes! Most definitely a typo, thank you for pointing that out! I’ll go fix that right away! I’m getting too old to be up so late…
Good, the more experienced Halo teams, the better.
> great Reach maps
Which are these?
Very cool; CA is awesome.
Well, odds of seeing good maps: Confirmed.
I thinks good news to hear that they will be working with Halo again.
I don’t know who he is. but i’m assured an extra map designer would be good.

Certain Affinity aren’t one person, they’re a group of developers I think.
