I was hoping to have any descent players join my Spartan Company, I would greatly appreciate it if any Spartans like yourselves would join my company. This company is mostly for fun, and not competitive.

I’m sick of the wannabes and mods on this forum… nobody hardly VISITS the other subforums on Waypoint!
Somebody tries to recruit other H5 players, they’re told to go post somewhere else and their post gets locked. Someone wants to advertise their H5 gameplay on the H5 forums… totally reasonable, it’s H5 related… they are told to post somewhere else and their post gets locked. Very FEW PEOPLE visit the Community Creations thread in comparison, the response there is MUCH less!
People can even talk about H5 and its mechanics and offer a new argument and bring fresh discussion to the forums and in some cases, guess what? They’re told to post SOMEWHERE ELSE and their post gets LOCKED.
LET. PEOPLE. POST.
It’s like Forum Police STATE PATROL over here! People are just posting to a forum on the internet, no harm, no foul! Ease up! Nobody is committing any crimes here. It’s not a big deal… And why are some of you acting like mods when you aren’t? It’s not some all powerful position either, no need to flex your moderator muscles! If it’s under the overarching umbrella of the greater topic/forum…

It’s a big problem here IMO… I’ve seen this all too much here, as I am a content creator and try to do my part in the community and do what I can to make both the game and community a better place.
Too many opinions, outreach opportunities, and content creations are silenced here and pushed aside, either into deserted areas of the forum or into great big “stickied” generalized topics, where their post becomes immediately lost in the shuffle.
I’m glad you were able to find a positive resolution in your situation… but honestly, come on mods, and these other forum users that think they’re mods… You guys need to step it up, think about what you’re really doing here… dial it back and let people contribute!
I’m only going to get more vocal about it, as it continues…

Something just needs to be said… that’s all. If nobody says anything about these kinds of problems, it’s never going to get better.
Unfortunately, I’m involved with a company right now, grinding for Achilles armor, but I support these threads and I suppose my previous post was my way of showing it. It’s keeping his cause alive either way…

I might create a thread about it tomorrow, but now it’s 10:36pm in GMT, so I need rest. I would be grateful if you would check it out and keep it up in the list of active threads for a bit so 343i can see it. It’s probs going to come out around 8/9am GMT
It’s a pain for a new company to get fresh players. My advice is to give a shout-out after a game. At least you know those people are still playing.
Any and all recruiting topics should go in the designated recruiting areas - either the Recruiting forums or the Spartan Companies forums. The reasons for this are to help keep the forums clean. If we let users recruit anywhere, those posts would push proper discussion and feedback out of the way.
