ive been playing halo since combat evolved and my skills have considerably improved. im always carrying teams on matchmaking. dont let my stats of reach and halo 4 fool you. my xbox was broken for a year during reach and other people in my family play on my account. and i dont play halo 4 much because i didnt think it was much good but i’ll play now with the tuning updates.
anyway like i said im always carrying my teams in matchmaking so i know i got the skills to play at a pro level. i would get clan invites during my halo career but i always ignored them because i always had social anxiety growing up. even if it was through a screen and mic. but i reallized i may have missed my chance of achieving my dream of going pro and maybe even getting payed to play. but now i want to join and officially go pro. so this is where i ask the communities who are looking for a good player who i can help win, clan matches or otherwise.
if anyone is interested in seeing my skills message me on xbox live my GT is Vyuken
I’m no expert on this, but it seems to me that in order to go pro (Assuming you have the skills- this is “hit a 4-shot on a strafing opponent 95% of the time on a sensitivity of 9 while strafing yourself” crap.), you should start playing often in an effort to regularly place high in the Slayer 200 done by 343. Participate in the open tournaments they do. Do well enough and you might start attracting attention.
I imagine it’s an extremely hard thing to break into though. Joining a clan of like-minded individuals might help; you could train together. Good luck!
“Going pro” does not mean being good and joining a clan. It doesn’t mean carrying your team in matchmaking. Being a professional means you are being paid to play a game through sponsorships and endorsements from companies who use you as a branding label for their products. It means you literally work at the game to make money, and compete in tournaments for additional cash prizes and sponsors.
If this is still accurate to what you are hoping to achieve, well good luck man. Get a 50 in H3 mlg and H4 throwdown (a piece of cake for pros); start a youtube channel and get a couple thousand subs, stream your games, and get involved in some tournaments then win. Sign up for BeyondEnt’s Winter Classic. Joining a clan is not how people become professional gamers.
I know you won’t do any of this…you’re talking about your skills in Halo 4 and you don’t even have a 2 in TD, whether its your account or not. Just blowing steam at work, sorry
