To be honest: that’s precisely what me and some pals set out to do with Fireteam Cerberus. Not precious about the name, or emblem, let alone leadership and all that gubbins. Consider all that placeholders. Totally understand if you’re not keen and you’d rather start a blank canvas though - if you go: best of luck and ma see you in the fight.
