Hey guys I want to hear some opinions. I’m looking into getting a 24 inch Benq monitor. I have hear good things about the RL2455HM. there are a couple more 24 inch monitors by Benq that are a little bit more money. I’m trying to see what you guys play on and what people can recommend me. Also i want to see if it is a good idea to spend a bit more money on the more expensive monitors.
You won’t regret the purchase, anyone that uses one will tell you it’s a game changer.
That monitor is what I use, it’s perfect for the price anything more flashy is wasted on console gaming as they can’t take advantage of the higher refresh rate.
Quick question is the monitor plugged into the wall like a tv orrrrrrr?

I was asking if it would be plugged into a pc or if it functions like a tv and plugs straight into wall.

It would be plugged into my PC and my xbox one.
I have a Asus monitor. It’s quite cheap. All you REALLY need is the low ms display lag. I would say that is most important. I use it on my phone
Gaming PC as well so I have 144hz and 3D also.
A Monitor?
Not sure what the Forerunners used for money, but I bet something like 343 Guilty Spark and 031 Exuberant Witness aren’t cheap

I have this monitor and can confirm that it is quite excellent. This is also the official monitor (make and model) of MLG and is used at all of their events (including console gaming). It pretty much gives you everything you need to get the best possible lag free response times on your Xbone. IMO its well worth it and is a good price as well.

Ha! Shoulda seen that coming. Good one, Snickerdoodle.
Obviously buy guilty spark
jk lol
What I use is an AOC 23" 2343f monitor,
When looking for a monitor what i’d recommend you keep in mind is an incredibly low input lag, 5ms or less response time and a high contrast ratio.
AOC would be my first choice in brand if I were to ever buy another monitor as they are aesthetically made (if you care about that sorta thing) with a high quality build and perform with the best of them.
Benq is obviously a great choice however, they are notorious for making great pro league worthy monitors and the monitor you’ve linked has the best possible specifications for Xbox gaming so it seems you’ve made a good choice.
Unless you’re looking for something very specific, it’s not easy to go wrong with monitors. If you’re only going to use it for console gaming, web browsing, and maybe some light productivity, then the first of those three is probably your highest priority, and the only thing you really need to worry about is the input lag. It can be checked from the input lag database, which happens to tell us that the input lag on the monitor you’re looking at (RL2455HM) is pretty much as good as it gets.
So, unless you see yourself doing something else on your monitor in the future (hardcore PC gaming, video editing, graphic design, etc.), you’re pretty much good to go with your current choice. You won’t really benefit from anything more expensive. Maybe you could get some additional ergonomic adjustments if you’re into that sort of thing, though stacking books is always an option.
