I’m an old Halo and Halo 2 vet who was out of the Xbox scene for a bit. Played a lot of PC shooters and PS3(local friends went Sony) this gen. However we picked up a 360 last year and I really enjoyed Halo 4. However I got away from it quick due to lack of people to play with using teamwork and mics. Started playing again and I still love Halo. Hoping to add some guys/gals who still enjoy this game and use teamwork/mics.
I’m also wondering if the maps packs or Champions Bundle is worth it at this point.

If you don’t get the DLC, you not only will be stuck playing the same half-dozen maps, you are dooming everyone you are with as well. I like most of them better than the ones the game shipped with. Scrape up the cash if you possibly can.
Oh - be sure and download the Forge Island pack. It is free, but without it, I don’t think you’ll be able to play any forge-based maps.
Your best bet is to check and post in the Recruiting section.
