I am cleaning out my friends list and I need more Halo 4 friends. Now, let’s make sure we are on the same page. I don’t want to join a clan/team/group/community. Don’t get me wrong though. If you want me to play with your clan/team/group/community, I will do it. But, just remember that I don’t plan on joining a clan/team/group/community. I simply want to gain friends who still play Halo 4.
Here is a little description about how I game: I am 18 years old, so no, I am not a little kid. I am a friendly, yet very competitive player in Halo 4. I fight hard and don’t back down. I have a turtle beach headset, so I can hear the game as well as my teammates. I don’t cuss, but I don’t mind when others do it. I am an SR 130 with a 2.18 K/D that is steadily increasing. Most of my weapons are maxed out, so I have experience with a wide variety of weapons and can use most of them effectively. I have ALL the Halo 4 map packs: Crimson, Majestic, Castle, Champions. You name it, I have it.
I would PREFER to have friends with the following qualities:
Good player. Please know what you are doing in the game. Basically, don’t run out into the middle of combat and die immediately. Usually good players are indicated by K/D, but that isn’t necessarily the case.
Have a mic and communicate. It’s easier to play well when you have teammates you can talk to and receive answers.
Have all the map packs. It would be nice to play on the maps we paid for wouldn’t it?
Have fun in game. Yes, we all get frustrated. But, we can be competitive and have fun at the same time.
Don’t disappear offline for a month. I now do monthly friend checks and if you have been inactive for more than a month, you will be removed. I don’t want to add you if you won’t be fairly active.
Again, these are only PREFERENCES. You don’t have to meet these, but I will certainly add you if you meet all of them.
There is only one, slight, problem. I am a college student, so it is hard for me to get online regularly. I have managed to be online later at night and can usually get online during the weekends. However, if you want me to play with you 24/7, you can forget it.
Feel free to message me. My gamertag is the same as my profile on Waypoint. Or, comment below and I will get back to you.
Thank you for your time and hopefully I will see you on the battlefield.
I must say you are the exact kind of player I’ve been looking for. We have a lot of the same goals in mind. I’m also looking for regular players that are mature, decent at the game, and like to have fun at the same time. Really glad you have all the map packs, I’ve been trying to play some Castle maps for months now, but to no avail. I recently posted some threads here looking for players such as yourself, and have got a few replies, so I hope that I can interest you too.
A description of me on Halo 4:
I take advantage of the terrain, I don’t run out and not expect to get my head blown off by a sniper. I take full advantage of crouching (so I become invisible on radar, and usually always take by opponent by suprise). I’m great at getting into the shoes of the enemy, so to speak. By this I mean I know when to retreat, know when I’m against a trigger-happy idiot that’s easy to kill, I have a good sense of knowing where an enemy will spawn based on the position of teammates in the map, where I kill the opposition etc. My K/D is 1.75 (just over 24,000 kills, around 13,000 deaths) and like yourself, is steadily increasing.
2)I have a mic, it’s one of the cheaper ones put it’s all I need.
3)Have all the maps (as mentioned above).
4)I’m also a college student, however I do be online almost everyday, usually playing Halo 4, for a couple of hours, it depends really
5)Have mastered quite a lot of weapons, I’m currently 100 kills off the Spartan Laser from finishing all UNSC weapon commendations, so I’ll be mostly playing Capture The Flag on Ragnarok over the next day or two.
6)I have L.A.S.O
I’m a master at Flood (Hivemind especially), have Commando FRCT armor.
I’m usually online later in the evenings
I hope that I fit your criteria. Message me back whenever you can.
My gamertag is the same as my waypoint name.
i dont have the champions dlc just yet but im working on it. i pretty much meet everything you listed except the dlc part. pay no mind to this profile i’ll be sending you a friend request from my other profile. then you could take a look at my K/D and stuff
Oh happy day, I have finally found someone I can relate to. Other than half the people on my Friends List already, but I digress. I’m always happy to meet someone else who enjoys playing the game for fun, and isn’t the kind of person to scream in my ear about how much I sucked in comparison to him.
I’ve been playing Halo ever since CE was released way-back-when, so I believe I know a thing or two about the overall gameplay that the series is known for. In-game, I’m always keeping an eye on my motion sensor so I don’t have as many issues with the opposition trying to score an assassination or taking me by surprise with the front bumper of a Warthog. Like Reaper of Deth, I love to take advantage of the surrounding terrain. I keep in mind which parts of the map have the higher ground, or in general, a more optimal position compared to my own. This helps me a lot during Objective-based games where I usually play defense, as I need to be aware of routes the enemy will take to reach the objective I guard, or positions they will take to fire at my teammates. I also keep in mind more technical thing such as respawn zones, weapon drop locations, vehicle/weapon respawn times, etc.
My current K/D for Matchmaking according to Waypoint is 1.43 (28,400 kills, 19,883 deaths), and I’m not quite sure if that number has changed recently, but I really don’t care. K/D has never been a thing that I constantly protect from going down by a few .01s.
I have a microphone and I will communicate. It’s one of the standard mics you get with a new Xbox, but it’s all I need. Never was a fan of any super-fancy technowizardry that people like to plug into their electronics.
I have all current map packs in my possession.
The only reason I play this game is because I want to. And I want to because I have fun even when everyone else is absolutely raging. Why? Well, it’s difficult for anything to piss me off. And people have tried. Boy, have they tried. As for being competitive…Eh, I’m not sure. I end up doing really well at times without even noticing what I’m doing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve just auto-piloted a game and came out in the Top 3 to my surprise. Either way, yes, enthusiasm in blasting a hole through someone’s face to win a game can be combined with the simple pleasure of joy for playing the game.
I too am in college, but that hasn’t stopped me from being online practically every day. Being on the Xbox and playing with friends is a great stress reliever for me, so it really is a daily ritual in its own right.
Other Things Ya Might Wanna Know: My Internet likes to drop when I’m in the middle of a game that I’ve been doing well in. It’s something I’ve attempted to fix in the past many times, but it seems like my modem is sadistic. I enjoy building maps, and I often have friends play test these with me so I know what to fix/add/remove/improve. Most importantly, I am a beast at setting up kills. I’m expecting to reach 10,000 Assists before the year is over, and it will be a glorious day of celebration for myself.
I’m usually on anywhere from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM Central Time, but I will be on earlier at times, especially during the weekends.
Well, here’s to hoping that my credentials are satisfactory as to what you’re looking for in a Halo 4 buddy. Waypoint user is the same as my GamerTag.
Hey guys I’ve sent a few of you a friend request but anybody else feel free to add me. I’ve Been playing halo for years now and although i am competitive I don’t rage or anything and enjoy playing in a team rather than lone wolfing.
