Looking for people to get 50's in all PL's

I’m planing on getting back into Halo 3 after a 1 year hiatus. None of my friends are playing Halo anymore, so I need some good people to play with to get my skill up again. Hit me up on Live if your interested. I’ll be on all day today.

I’m on right now.

Add me if you want, I need more people to play Matchmaking and Custom Games with.

I’m on right now if anyone wants to play.

I will be on at around 5pm eastern if anyone wants to play ranked.

OP you should just purchase a 50. That’s what pretty much everyone did back when Halo 3 was popular.

Inferno add me on xbl. I’m a 50, looking for others to rank all of my playlists up. Can make a new tag too. My gamertage is : FiZiKz Bruh I have tuesday and wed off this week so I will be playing a lot then.

Add digitalklear and initiatethought. We are looking for 50’s in TS
Msg initiatethought saying digitalklear refered me to you

I disagree, ‘pretty much everyone’ But myself and all of my friends never bought a 50 ever. I think it’s fair to say while a small few did, the majority didn’t.

Except that Bungie and 343i both admitted and agreed that it was such a big issue that they didn’t include a 1-50 ranking system in Halo: Reach or Halo 4.

So while you and your few friends can extrapolate you’re findings and assume it wasn’t a major issue, it was actually a huge issue and actually did happen to a majority of accounts.

Which leads me to my next point, having a 50 in Halo 3 doesn’t mean anything because it has been tarnished by people who sold accounts, boosted, de-ranked and cheated.

Dsight, except for the fact that every time I have gotten a 50 is purely for my enjoyment, no one else’s. I could care less how anyone else views my 50, I’m the one who has fun earning it in each playlist, and with the lower population it is far from easy to get, even in Team Slayer. Go play mario kart

How did they know if the black market was big or not? I have around 10 50s (that does not mean I played at the low levels), and none of them have been, or shall be sold.

There should especially be no excuse on the Halo Xbox one. The real reason is the same as everything in Halo 4. To make the game more accessible to beginners playing.

The bought 50s usually play Social anyway and you wouldn’t see them with more than 100-200 exp on their 50. <- Because that’s normally how long time it takes to get one.

Sorry but I trust 343i, Microsoft and Bungie when it comes to 50s being bought and sold instead of you. If they’re upset enough to remove the ranking system, it’s a sign that it was out of hand in Halo 3 and not worth the trouble.

Here’s a good look into it.

>
> Cheating.
>
> Modding.
> While there actually was much modding in Halo 2, it almost stopped completely in Halo 3. There are so few modders you could call them non-existent. Fixed.
>
>
> Internet manipulation.
> On Halo Xbox one’s severs there will be no network manipulation. Fixed.
>
> Boosting
> This guy has no idea what he is talking about. Fixed.
>
> What he is describing here is called circle boosting and it never worked in Halo 3, but Halo 2. Because after you meeting the same players for the 4th time the ranking system would stop ranking you.
>
> "It was fairly simple, and anyone could do it - set everyone to a language that didn’t have many players, combined with some network manipulation, and you could get a gamertag to a 50 in about 30 games."Fixed.
> *****
> What boosting really was is people losing on their account making it look incredibly bad for both us and the system. He could then proceed to play with someone who wanted a 50 and making him rank up incredible fast, because when he won with such a “bad player” on his team he must have been the best and deserved a higher rank.
> There has been many ideas to fix this. While it never was such a begin problem to begin with (The article isn’t even describing it), I believe with the inclusion of dedicated servers, they can fix it. Fixed.
> Modified films and pictures.
> “Offline screenshots, gametypes, films and map variants cannot be put in your fileshare, which prevents 99% of modding from being able to be uploaded to a file share. The market for modded films, screenshots and film clips died overnight.” Fixed.
> He is highly exaggerating when it comes to Halo 3. In 2007 runescape removed the ability to trade freely with other people because the scammers were such a big problem!!! A few years later they held a poll asking if players wanted the ability to trade like they once had been able to do and 98% of Runescape’s fanbase wanted to be able to do that.
> I am sure that boosting, and cheating weren’t really a big issue. Seeing as I have played a little over 20.000 games in Halo 3 I personally consider it to be minimal. Obviously meeting cheaters and boosters is more common today as the population is less, but it is still not as BIG as problem as they say it is when it comes to touching upon the player-base. It’s obviously a BIG problem on the developers part because it is going against their rules, and exploiting the system (just as scammers were in Runescape).
> “Arena did have some issues that I didn’t like. It wasn’t perfect the day it was born. I do think that it did need some fixes, and the incoming March update fixes a lot of them. It makes it a lot less hardcore (we already have the MLG playlist for the super hardcore players)”
> This is the dumbest statement I have heard. There are many “super hardcore players” in the other playlists too, that doesn’t play MLG or have never been to an event. MLG being the only part of Halo is just an illusion created by the players that has never played at the higher levels of Halo. You have great players coming from every playlist, someone which only plays that particular playlist.
> And seeing as there is absolutely no problem having such a ranked system in Halo Xbox 1, I don’t see why they shouldn’t.
