So back in Halo 2, my friends and I use to run a game called cut-throat.
I’m sure some of you may have played it and saw it under a different name.
Either way, the gametype is fairly simple.
You can have as many people as you want in the game, but there is only 2 people on the map at one time.
Both players fight until one dies and the next person on the waiting list spawns to fight the winner of the previous battle. It continues on and on until someone reaches 15 (or whatever you choose)
Would this be possible with Juggernaut and for the Juggernaut not to have any special perks over the standard player?
Or is anyone else of any other way to create this?
I wouldn’t understand how to get the spawning so that only two people will spawn on the map at the same time.
But to make the Juggernaut the same as the other players, just change the Juggernauts settings. Easy as that.
EDIT: It’s actually not that easy. When it’s made into a Juggernaut gametype, the Juggernaut will always have a gravity hammer, even if you changed both the new and regular setting for the Juggernaut to something else.
It also has overshields that drain down.
I shall keep trying for you, OP.

Heh thanks
Don’t work to hard, I was just asking to see if anyone knew.

I have way too much free time and nothing to do with it. Besides, it helps me learn more about gametype mechanics.
I still haven’t been able to find a way to get the Juggernaut type to work, but I have put it in a King of The Hill variant where an AA is the Hill, which will give points to those who wield it.
EDIT: Didn’t work out too well, the AA stayed in the body of the person who picked it up first for the 30 or so seconds that the dead body stays on the map, but the victor can still gain points from it.
I have no idea how to change the size of the hill to make it where it’s only when you pick up the AA that it will count.
Also, I still have no idea how to make the spawning so that only two players can be in the battle area at the same time.
