Hello
I m looking for some one to play with in Halo Wars, on the same time i m also looking for a mentor with more knowledge on the game, I have my strategies and know how to improvise when those fail, how ever those improvisations do not work with the experienced players, they all end on a good fight, but not in a victories one.
In other words, I know how to handle my self inside my strategies, but take me out of them and i m close to a complete rookie. I would really like to learn more ways and I m really looking forward to have some one to play with.
I play always as Forge of the UNCS, I have all my strategies on him and i feel more comfortable with him, from there that i improvise “well” with him. Out of him, I have only a bit of experience with the Prophet of the Covenant. I m looking forward to learn more out of Forge, and to be available to present a good fight with all the leaders of both sizes.
I live on GMT+1 and I m available to play every week, mostly between monday and friday, since saturday and sunday i mostly play with my girlfriend.
My most sincere thanks to who decided to join me and teach me.
Best regards,
Zubi Fett

Although I am not online very much, I’d be willing to show you some stuff if you’d like. Just send me a friend request and invite me whenever you have the time
I normally would jump at this opportunity, but the attitudes of all the newbies and their lack of actually game sense/skill has whittled down my patience. I can assist u via xbl messages. I have no problems with forge, however he is the one leader that I don’t play, if you want a leader that can go the distance I suggest anders or the arbiter. Gauss is good.

I appreciate that, than you very much

Thank you for the offer, my thanks. However:
I m not a “noobie” who doesn’t know a thing of playing. I have as many victories as loses, my “issue” is that i m tired of getting those victories/loses with the three strategies of always, because it gets very repetitive.
Thats why i m looking for some one who can teach me out of Forge, as i said, i m not looking help with Forge.
I have some great links for strategies etc. But i m looking for some field experience and a buddy to play with.
Best regards,
Zubi Fett

thats the problem with most noobs these days. They think they are good/decent while they are actually terrible. No offence but looking through your stats you have a lot to learn. When I was new to this game I just had this image of myself that I was completely -Yoink- at the game and I needed to listen to the higher level people, because they are actually good. Once you actually listen to the better players instead of doing the complete opposite ,because you think that you know how to play this game, you will start to improve. After a while you will be able to make your own adjustments and little tweeks to improve your game. But for the beginning weeks just listen and follow the advice and strats that the higher level people tell you to do.
Posting anything on this site’s like jumping into a shark tank…Let him play his own way a bit, don’t become a prod of the high levels =) If you’ve only got 3 strategies and it’s getting boring, then either mix it up a little more, or keep playing and face higher players, and get forced to learn more =P If you have quite a lot of losses try turning them around, or switching playlists. Don’t know how long you’ve actually played but no game is the same (Unless you’re playing the AI) so you should eventually learn some new stuff from your wins as well as your losses.
After each game, win or lose, be critical and think of how you could improve =)

Hello
Where could you see my stats? I don’t know where to see mines here on Waypoint.
Thank you,
What an irony, do you think that if i thought i was good i will be here asking for help? I said I’m Ok with Forge, which usually gives me a fifty-fifty of victories and louses, and i m okay with it.
Don’t take it bad, sorry if i seem to be a bit “angry”, but i have always find to use the word “Noob” to be arrogant and disrespectful.

Hello
Actually, thats what i used to do before i met a person who showed me those 3 strategies. It didn’t go well, i experiment for ages and the only times it worked was against other people who seem to be doing the same or even know less than i did. The only thing i come up with after all of this was to discover that you better not use more than 3 different units produced in “mass” was very ineffective, therefor only 2 unit tips in “mass”.
But yeas, after every match i always take time to think what could have done better and what the enemy did, of course.
Thanks for coming by.

I typed in your username on halowars.com. I just assumed that was you and im just saying you have A LOT to learn in other words your are new to the game or atleast to HIGH level play. So you are a noob to high level play. Correct me if im wrong but thats the way I see it. Its not an insult lol
You can do what limitz said and keep playing thousands of games and slowly learn from your losses, gain experience and get good. Or listen to the top players and be a copy cat. You will get good at high level really quickly that way and when you understand it all you can make your own adjustments.
this game is quite old now and because of its simplicity all or 99% of the strats and tactics have been worked out so in my opinion its not worth the time or the amount of games it would take to get good without any help. Unless your the new Iechoic lol
The reason why there are so few high level players is mainly because people don’t listen
