In advanced, I’m sorry if this does come off a bit as arrogant. I felt this would simply be a good way to find a group that I can be a part of with assurances I would have no problems with it.
Alrighty then, so I am looking for a clan to join. Since there’s an obviously great amount to choose from, and it wouldn’t be very time efficient for me to scour every forum possible for one group that has everything I am looking for, I’m just going to make a list here of what I’m looking for in a group:
-
I pride myself upon being an ODST player, and as such I am looking for a group that would be focused on the UNSC military. That said, I’m not really looking for special treatment or for the position within that unit to simply be handed to me. I would seek to gain it in a legitimate fashion.
-
I would first like to say that I have no problems going according to strict uniform regulations. I’ve grown used to it in the Sangheili clans I was once a part of and I see the regimented system giving the organization a stronger sense of unity. However, it would be a bit preferable on my end to be able to retain my Cobalt secondary color, so if there is an organization that has its armor styles and primary colors regulated but the secondary being customizable to maintain some sense of individuality, that would get major points in my book. But if it isn’t, it’s something I would learn to deal with, and still probably wear my custom colors outside of working with the rest of the clan.

Being able to maintain a flexible schedule. This is pretty essential for me. I do have college to think about, and friends who aren’t as into the more regulated systems who wouldn’t be interested in joining, but who I would still want to hang out with, and it’s the strain that had to make me choose between some of my best friends and my teammates that ultimately ended my career with the Sangheili groups. So while I am perfectly willing to be a dedicated member, I would like to establish an understanding with my possible issues there.
And that’s pretty much it. I’m sorry if this is too much to ask for some, but I’m just laying out what I am ideally looking for. Since I made a little list of demands, I guess it’s only fair if I give a brief resume to show what capabilities I can offer:
Age is 20 (Since I know how people hate the Squeakers)
My present K/D is 1.26, BPR is 71
My top three most used weaponry are the DMR, Melee, and Magnum (Magnum being weapon of choice, unless a longer ranged map or not part of starting loadouts)
I have previous experience in working within regimented units within Sangheili clans, my last group and position within it was a Special Operations Officer within the Sangheili Eminence, before than being a leading commander of its infantry battalion. I left and cut off the majority of my ties with the Sangheili after accepting a hypocrisy within the group as a whole in regards to honor. That and I got a bit tired of the Sangheili community bickering at each other like children.(I know past experience is important for the possibility of spies, so I’m getting that out of the way.)
My main strengths are in working as a foot soldier, a gunner, and rushing key equipment (Ex, Rushing Plasma Launcher on the Hemorrhage and using it to take out enemy vehicles early in the game.)
My main weaknesses are as primarily as a driver (With the exception of the Falcon, Warthog, and Ghost), and I’ll admit my skills with a sniper rifle are a bit on the rusty side. If anything else, I’m not the best grenade tosser. lol
And that’s about it. I honestly am not a fan of patting myself on the back like this, but at least I’m not wasting your time with some CoD-esque montage showing off my “mad skillz” or anything like that, right?
I may have a buddy who would want to join alongside with me, but that part isn’t a done deal as of yet. I’m going to let this go for about 12-24 hours before I make a response or decision to give people plenty of fair time to give a response and not let me just rush into an option.
Thanks in advanced for those who read all this, I’m looking forward to whomever would like to introduce themselves and their organizations, and again I do apologize if this comes off a bit as arrogant.
Either way, good day to all of you.
I’d gladly give you any more information you wish for.
