If you haven’t heard of us, you should join the halowheelmen’s community of mature/tolerant players. All we ask is that new members make an introduction thread, so that you’re not a total stranger when you decide to party up with us. If you happen to find our community to your liking and in-turn wish to become an orange level member “Trusted”, simply read over the good gamers network code of conduct and apply to join the “HWM good gamers group” from the control panel on site. That will give you access to some of the hidden threads such as the clan application and the war room “strategic discussion”.

NOTE - Our website does NOT have malware. There was a third party link (that has since been removed) that raised some warning flags with Google. When Google does another search, it’ll come out clean. > I. Basics
Introduction - I am Specialist Reactive of the Dropshock Brigade. We pride ourselves in being one of the most mature, and professionally organized clans out there. With a member base of over 90 active personnel from eleven different countries and a clan history of nearly four years, we offer a unique variety of members between Europeans, Australians, and North Americans, as well as several other regions throughout the world. > II. What We Have To Offer
Gaming - Unlike a lot of clans, our clan has several clan matches, inter-clan scrimmages, tournaments/contests, and gaming nights. We do plenty of matchmaking and events amongst ourselves, and also have practices throughout the week to improve our game play. In these practices, we not only learn new strategies but also improve chemistry amongst ourselves, such as teamwork and communication. We also get a chance to know one another a little more, think of it as a big family.
Community - We have members from all over the globe and there will always be someone online. Our members are the reason the Brigade is special. Each of their individual efforts and personalities contribute to the Brigade’s success for the past three and a half years. We have a forum and a chat room on our website where you can communicate with them while off of Xbox LIVE. It’s a good chance to meet some fantastic people, both recreational and competitive gamers coming from a large variety of ages.
Professionalism - Our clan acts as respectful and professional as we can at all times. But, not only is our behavior professional, so is our website. Our website was created by scratch from our founder, Vitamin R, and he has maintained its originality ever since. Just glancing at our website will express just how accurately how we handle the clan. We have plenty of leaders within Dropshock who also share real world experience as a leader, who are always willing to help and dedicate themselves to benefiting the community.
Promotions - Promotions aren’t easy to come by in the Brigade. If you want one, you need to earn it by working for it through initiative. We’re organized with a roster and divided by Companies and Platoons with a unique ranking structure. Throughout your time in the Brigade, you will also learn what it truly means to be a leader. You may think that it is just for gaming, but you’ll learn life lessons in your time of service with us.
> III. Becoming A Member
Enlisting - To get into the Dropshock Brigade, you must register on our website and fill out the Enlistment Form. However, before doing so, it is recommended that you take a look at our Enlistment Example to get a general idea of what is expected of you. You will now begin your two week journey into becoming a member of the Brigade. Why must you be a Recruit for two weeks? Well, in this time, we’ll essentially be “screening” you for potential. This is your trial period, and you’ll have to obtain a sponsor in this time. A sponsor is someone that looks after you and assists you in any problems or questions you may have. They’re basically your mentor, and you can achieve getting one by playing a few games with us and politely asking if someone would like to do it.
Once you have a sponsor, and been with us for at least a week, you will be eligible to take Boot Camp. This is where we test you on team based skills and communication. Playing ability does not matter to us, as we have both recreational and competitive players in our community, but we will be testing you on how vocal you are. After Boot Camp, you may take our Entrance Exam which will test you on the knowledge of the Brigade that you’ve accumulated in your past two weeks here.
Sounds tough, right? It is. We don’t allow just anyone to step in, and because of it, it’s put us at one of the greatest clans in Halo, and possibly the online gaming community as a whole. We didn’t get to where we’re at now by magic, but because of the wonderful member base and community that we’ve had over the years supporting us. You’ll have to show us you belong. So, do you think you’re tough enough? Prove it.

=VX9= is looking for mature gamers to have fun, hangout, and to help replenish our ranks. We have an Army based ranking system, awards, forums, and plenty of other features. But don’t take my word for it, come find out yourself! We require all members to go through a 1-2 week recruitment process. We don’t require much, but one thing that we love to see in our members is teamwork. So if you want to join, either send me an email or come by our forums or TeamSpeak and tell them Shootbacca=VX9= sent you. Once you filled in your application, it will take anywhere from 12-24 hours to be accepted as a recruit. Possibly even sooner. You will be given more information at that time.
