So I’ve been playing Halo for a long time (CE) but since the days of Halo 3 grifball has been my main squeeze. With it’s removal I’ve been forced to Branch out more. Lame. But as I do I find that my aim isn’t quite what I want it to be I’m used to perfecting my hammer timing and passing and positioning skills and junk. I’m now attempting to work on my perfect kills for the whites of their eyes commendation. And it’s not going as well as I would like. And well I’m looking for any advice as the title says. I also have a nervous system disorder that can act up and really mess with my timing. So any advice is appreciated. I just feel like I’ve done better in past games and struggling to get back to that.
I think the main piece of advice anyone in our community is gonna give you about getting perfect kills with any precision weapon is going to be pacing your shots. The first impulse from every new(ish) player is to shoot as quick as possible but your accuracy goes down the drain when you do that. Slow, steady shots will always win you a kill. Also, if you hit the “Customs Browser” from the Main Menu try to find some Octagon game types, they’re made for precision practice.
Practice makes perfect.
