Greetings,
FalcoDrac here. I am a Halo 3 veteran that is gearing up for Halo 5 and am in search for 1 more full-time, competitive, team member. There are 3 of us now.
My partners and I are intending to focus on playing the MLG / Hardcore playlist in Halo 5, as we did back in the Halo 3 days. We are hoping to fill our empty spot as soon as possible, but must run afew days of tryouts to ensure we pick up the right fit for us, and for our final team member.
Some background. We all played Halo 3 MLG up to rank 40-or-so, and other playlists such as Team Slayer, Team Objective, and Team Doubles up to rank 50. We loved the MLG mainstage, and were well-accustomed to callouts, strategies, and all aspects of pro-gameplay. We participated in Gamebattles online and afew of us attended some local tournaments in our areas, just for the exposure. Unfortunately, none of us adjusted well to Reach or Halo 4, and stopped playing competively with the team, rather just as a pas-time. Now, with Halo 5 planning to return to the mainstage (fingers crossed), we have returned to play MCC for practice and plan to kickstart the team back into shape and ride out Halo 5 like we did in the past with 3. For those wondering, our reasons for not adjusting well to the 343 Halo games is entirely due to the fact that we never enjoyed playing Call of Duty. The introduction of Loadouts, Perks, Ordinances, and all-around randomized gameplay completely ruined the competitive atmosphere for us, and proof can be found in that statement because MLG dropped the title from the mainstage in 2012. Rest in Peace Bungie, no matter how much you push Destiny.
Regardless, our heavy MLG history and desire to again run a mature, competitive, friendly team on Live, has returned. We are in search for 1 more veteran player that shares in our beliefs, gameplay mindset, and skill level. We will be playing the Hardcore playlist in MCC until Halo 5 launches. We are rusty now, but quickly regaining our skill and need the extra body now, asap. We want to focus on teamwork as much as possible, before the new launch.
We all have full-time, day-time jobs but still manage to play 4-5 days days of the week, in the evenings around 6:00pm - 10:00pm (EST), as well as afew late nights here and there. We are looking for someone that is age 20+, does not expect to attend tournaments (unless we run Live and encounter some pros and perform well-enough), willing to exchange cell phone information and be available for playing when it fits the whole team’s schedule, and always show up prepared, with their A-game. We are not looking to teach players how to perform well in MLG, but we are expecting teammates to come prepared with knowledge of MLG mindset, objective approach, support and slayer ability, and a healthy dose of positive criticism and respectfulness towards fellow teammates.
I am the team captain. Please add me on Live (FalcoDrac) and send me a message as soon as possible! We want to discuss details, run afew customs for perspective, and hit the playlist for 1-2 nights. If team chemistry yields a reaction, then we found our catalyst!
(Lol, bad chemistry joke. I’m sorry.)
Additional Attributes to emphasize:
- Patience
- Humor
- Skill (lol, believe it or not)
- Availability during the time slot 6:00pm - 10:30pm EST on most days (not straight through, but around in case all team member schedules match up that day)
(5) Healthy Criticism
