When I look at gameplay footage of the Halo 5 Beta, I often ask myself, what made the final product that is Halo 5 Guardians look so unpolished and more like a group of toys holding weapons that could pass off as nerf gun products? Not that everything in the beta was PERFECT, but it is quite weird to look back and notice how much things like the ground pound, callouts or some of the lighting used in certain locations were taken out of the game. Some people may not have like some of the callouts and many were pointless, but it did make it feel as if we were apart of a real team trying to communicate with each other than just soldiers just blankly fighting other Spartans in arena. It’s also very strange to see how good Spartan armor looked when it was in the beta, instead of it looking as if it already been through a battle which doesn’t make any sense at all with multiplayer being a simulator and there being no point for Spartan 4s to be using mjolnir armor that has seen all sorts of action. It makes me shake my head so vigorously as well when I notice how much better the weapons looked as well, even the PERFECTION match ending is not used and out of all things that could be taken out, that was one of the many aspects of the Beta that could make me say that these aren’t Spartan IVs trying to be Spartan II’s, but instead just regular humans congratulating themselves after a hard earn victory. So what is your opinion on the gameplay differences between the beta and final? (P.S sorry for all the links and the long passage).
I miss the beta post game stances.
Actually looked like you won, not so generic.
Or the beta smg.

Spartan IIs maybe. Spartan IVs are normal human adults that have chosen to be augmented. So they may very well have frat boy personalities and may not fit the “Spartan mold” that the previous Spartan classes established. Look at Vale. She was a scientist with barely any combat experience before being drafted.
OP, here are some more beta videos that I made for various reasons. Feel free to check them out for reliving the good and bad from the beta.

Yeah because of when people think of seal team 6 they wonder who many beers they can chug. There’s a much better way to portray personality without making the characters look like an army of -Yoink- bags. Just look at Gears or Republic Commando for two dark but fun games that make their elite feel like people while making them badasses.
Spartans aren’t grunts they’re the top of the line. If you can find me someone who’s apart of the upper echelon who acts like that than I’ll meet you half way but until then you’re wrong.
