Looking ahead to Halo 5

Look, I know the haters are going to have their nay say and what not, but on here we, the proud and true Halo fans can discuss things without the worry of jerks and their crapy remarks. So, I put this up on the waypoint Facebook page yesterday under the topic of Halo 5 recomendations…what do you guys think, do I have ANY good ideas in this?

Things I’d do with Halo 5:

  1. Start out on the Elites home world, with John 117 trying to figure out who he is with the help of the Arbiter. Then have him brought back into action with Laskey showing up and asking for his help with finding Dr. Hasley.

  2. Send Chief along with Palmer and Fire Team Majestic to one of the known Halo Ring locations mentioned in Halo 4 to search for a lead on Hasley, and Jul M’dama, and during that search have them uncover the original Forerunner Lab where they first created The Flood, thus bringing them back into the series. have a couple of surviving spores get away and start infecting.

  3. Give Chief either a new and modified Cortana, or a new AI partner altogether and have their interaction play a direct effect on the story, as usual.

  4. Have Spartan Ops be more of a driect tie in to the main story by either Crimson team in the campaign, or Chief in Spartan Ops.

  5. A longer, deeper and more time consuming campaign. Being able to adjust settings is great, but still getting through it in a week or less is not.

  6. Dive deeper into Spartan Ops, make the mission chapters longer and more interactive and richer. Objectives are cool but they go a little too quick. Perhaps turning Spartan Ops into a form of a Halo MMO is possible?

  7. Have Chief struggling with his two sides, soldier and human. let him be the confused and out of sorts character this time and tie that into the game play some how.

  8. Bring back The Brutes, showcasing in their designs we saw briefly in Halo 4, make them smarter, faster and stronger.

  9. Forerunners, I’d like to see more of their locations mentioned in Spartan Ops Season 1 “The Key” episode. We know that the UNSC only has half the key, which means they have half the data, thus some but not all of the known Forerunner instalations, right?

  10. An ultimate choice for Master Chief, kill or don’t kill Dr. Halsey?

Lastly, and this is about “Forge” I’d like to see a NO BUDGET CAP idea put into place. Create without limits I think :slight_smile:
