Can this be done in co-op? As in if one player kills grunts but the other does not, the achievement will still pop for the player who didn’t kill any grunts? Or is it like the “That Just Happened” achievement (complete the Library without dying) where if one player dies, it voids the achievement for both. So in the Grunts case, if one player kills a grunt it voids the achievement for both players?

Yeah it should, I helped my friends get it in the 360 version by killing Grunts while having them sit back and relax.

Problem is the criteria seems to have changed in this version. In the Library achievement for the 360, you got the achievement if you didn’t die even if the other player did. Now if either player dies neither player can get the achievement.

Well I am uncertain, haven’t tried it in co-op yet in TMCC. I think it’s better safe than sorry to just get it alone because I looked it up and it seems like some people can’t get it in co-op (although it could be because of the achievement not unlocking glitches).

it works for MCC, me and a buddy took turns killing all the Grunts so we could each get the achievment

I can confirm you can get this by signing in a guest & playing co-op.
Just use the 2nd controller (guest) to kill all the grunts.
