Let’s continue the random drop system but what about adding a system where you can spend req points to ,not only buy packs but, buy specific req weapons and vehicles.
As of the moment, I’m rank 114, (for a moment) had over 100,000 req points and have most of the requsitions and certifications unlocked but I only have 1 Nornfang, 2 Jorge’s Chainguns and only 1 Ad Victorium
I would like for them to do that as I don’t have anything to spend reqs on unless I need xp boosts I have every item from reqs and 657,752 req points saved up as of right now.
I can accept micro transactions in Halo if there isn’t a better way available without micro transaction to give the same or better gameplay experience.
The req system in Halo 5 has few major flaws and not that many benefits I will list because I can. Improvements
Gives revenue for the game developers. - Gives a bit of excitement while opening the early packs.Flaws
RNG system which means you cannot control when you get an item. - No way to tell if you can unlock a specific item from the standard packs which means you may want to get a specific item but you can’t because it isn’t in the pack lot pool. - Too big lot pool which means it can take an severe amount of time to get what you want. - Divide between players that has managed to unlock specific req items and hasn’t unlocked them. A good example is if the player hasn’t unlocked the DMR, the player will be in an disadvantage in long range combat. - Item unlocks will not be as memorable because you will unlock pretty much every single item the same way as any other items. It’s also impossible to tell which items you unlocked the proper way and which items you got from RNG packs. - Every player will have an req weapon pool of different size which means the new players need to question if they want to spend there mantis while the old players can consume near freely. The worst example was month of mythic where you could by the super rare weapons and build up a big collection of them quickly.I could list few more flaws but in Halo 5, micro transactions has taken away a bit of the Warzone experience. I myself would prefer to see Warzone where you get your power weapons from the enemy AI instead of having it tied with micro transactions. This would mean you could focus on base defense for point or taking out AI for better weaponry.
A good idea like going to a Lego store and picking what bricks you want, however this will seriously effect the income 343 would receive. Nobody would drop like $500 on packs if they could spend like $30 on a specific card.
I agree. That would help improve 343i REQ system by a ton.
Just give us this and I’d be happy…
Bronze Pack = 1250 REQ
BS Pack = 2500 REQ (Random between Bronze and Silver)
Silver Pack = 5000 REQ
BG Pack = 7500 REQ (Random between Silver and Gold)
Gold Pack = 10000 REQ
Warzone Pack = 15000 REQ (Zero Customization items and Warzone Boost cards)
Arena Pack = 20000 REQ (Customization items and Arena Boost cards)
Specific Common Item 25000 REQ
Specific Uncommon Item 50000 REQ
Specific Rare Item 75000 REQ
Specific Ultra Rare Item 100000 REQ
Specific Legendary Item 200000 REQ
Specific Ultra Rare Lore Item 250000 REQ

I think your pricing is a bit high. Don’t forget that the new players should be able to progress which means there must be something that will not make it to a “grind”. When a system gets to the point of being a grind, it’s instantly flawed. One way to reduce the grind aspect is to increase the amount of permanent items from 1 pack.
