Without friends online, I feel like Halo 4 loses replay value pretty quickly. While I understand that some of you may not agree, the community’s population continues to gradually decrease.
What would you do to add replay value to Halo 4?

hmm… interesting question. Maybe more custom game options and bigger maps and games. Ive always thought it’d be fun to merge halo with warhawk btb gameplay just to see what kind of monster would be created
well a visible 1-50 ranks will no doubt add to the population… ever since they got rid of it (after halo 3) the population has been declining… not just starting with h4
also its gonna be really hard to make this game appeal to hardcore competitive players because there would be so much you have to change… there is no skill gap in this game (which people want) everybody can be just as good as everybody else… and now with ordinances it adds randomness to the game which cant be compensated by skill cause there is no skill gap…
they would have to make some playlist that have completely different mechanics at work than the game itself has…
alot of people want to play without ordinance and no radar and no boltshot and things like that… like a hardcore playlist… but currently there isnt even a playlist with no radar… leaving people like myself to play customs which honestly still doesnt feel very competitive even with the mlg v1 settings which by the way are faar from vanilla
we need waaay more custom game options… the current change-able options are pathetic
A new playlist. Call it classic or ahwtever you want.
Assault Rifle/Magnum Starts
Weapons on map
No ordinance drops
I would even go so far as “loadouts” with different armor abilities, but Assault Rifle/Magnums as the only weapons for all of them.
Rizotic, don’t forget smaller symmetrical maps. A whopping total of 1 in the game is pathetic itself. Hell, just give us some smaller maps. There were maybe 3 to begin with and Crimson released 3 BTB maps, which we already had a lot of. Don’t try telling me that Harvest is a small map. In what Halo has a small competitive map been specifically designed for a Warthog?

This, except with the choice between AR or BR as starting weapon. An a 1-50 competitive level system.
one more thing… these arent accurate statistics but im sure that over 50% of the halo community has played the other halo titles and are “hardcore” halo players…
that being said i have no idea why 343 made their game so “casual” friendly aka apealing to less than 50% of the population (my guess way less than 50%)
right now they are losing all of their hardcore players…
would have made alot more sense to apeal to the hardcore players(more than 50%)and keep them instead of losing them and the casuals either play to get better or leave…
when you make a game to appeal to less than 50% of the people going to buy it how can you expect it to succeed?
