Long wait at the Vehicle bay

Hey all,

Encountering an issue pretty frequently lately (once ever 3 games or so) where I will attempt to spawn a vehicle in WZ but it will say that the vehicle bay is busy for like a full minute or so before it allows me to spawn without the vehicle but with it in reserve for when its ready. No matter how long I survive the vehicle does not spawn but once I die it will first give me a standard countdown until I respawn only to restart to a 50 second countdown once that time reaches 0. I then have to wait the full 50 seconds and then my vehicle that I chose nearly 3 minutes ago will finally spawn.

It’s nothing too terrible to have to deal with but it always ruins a game when you are forced to spend over 10% of it just waiting. I am very curious if there is a known trigger for this that I should be avoiding or any known fix that I can use to “get out of it” once I lock myself in with a non spawning vehicle.

I believe this can trigger when there are a certain number of vehicles already in play on the map, potentially to save overloading and causing issues

I’ve definitely also encountered it when someone is loading in a vehicle but quits before the animation completes - which is even more annoying as you have zero control over it.

Ah that would make sense, but yes very frustrating that its outside of player control (at least for my player). Like I said it’s rare enough not to be game breaking, and if it happens again I know that free break for a couple minutes I guess.

That’s what I was thinking at first too, but now I think it’s not the “too many vehicles on map” response that cancels the REQ use, but the delay after the REQ is allowed while the vehicle bay is still occupied by other players. I’ve run into that but not at all frequently, and at most had to wait for maybe 2 players to go thru the animation, less than 20 seconds.

Hopefully a full system reset will have cleared this up by now for legend777666…
