Do you think long term Halo fans - People with save files/achievements/ranks/etc…, from previous Halos (3,ODST,Wars,CE Anniversary,4 etc…) should be rewarded in H5 in someway? With like perhaps a special set of armor - or something for aesthetic purposes!
Well - I wouldn’t mind being rewarded since I’ve played all the Halo games to date (even Spartan Assault -_- hehe). But its up to 343 whether they do anything!
Armour:
CE/CEA- Mk V armour
Halo 2- undamaged Mk VI armour
Halo 3- damaged Mk VI armour
Halo wars- spartan version of the marine helmet from halo wars.
ODST- ODST the classic halo 3/ODST look of it. (The new version is already in)
Halo Reach- noble team’s armour
Halo 4- Mk VI upgraded armour
SA- (havnt played it yet sadly so I dont have an idea =( )
Weapon skins
CE/CEA- AR skin linking to the first ring
Halo 2- BR skin linking to delta halo & a CC skin linking to the arbiter
Halo 3- flood related skin for all weapons
Halo wars- sentinel themed skin for all loadout weapons
ODST- some SMG (since it could be a side arm) skin
Halo Reach- A skin dedicated to each member of noble team
Halo 4- cortana circuit skin and a didact/promeathean themed skin for all loadout weapons.

And remember, who is more concerned with getting all the armour, the 30 something veteran or the 10 something newbie? ‘Veterans’ usually don’t care about special armour, because they have a job…and a life.
Hardcore gamer or not, many people are completionists and would want to get all the armour.

It doesnt support it directly. They could make people enjoy the rest of the franchise to obtain the armour which adds a challenge and enjoyment for thise wishing to obtain the armour.
Bungie gave you those tags on your gamercard. No reason why they can’t bring those back. They could also do armor effects again and give a special one.
I have played all the Halos, so I certainly wouldn’t mind being rewarded. However, rewarding all the players sounds complicated and I don’t even know how 343 could approach it. Guess we will have to wait and see.
