Everybody who’s completed the Halo: Reach campaign has played the mission: “Lone Wolf”. The objective is to try and last as long as you can, whilst waves of increasingly more powerful enemies spawn. It’s a bit like Reach’s other gamemode: “Firefight”.
But the question is: How long can you survive? And on which difficulty?

I put that bad boy on easy once and got pretty far. I’ve always wished there were some sort of timed leaderboards for this.
I remember getting far on easy and normal, but it’s hard to remember specifics without an official timer. That being said, what a crazy, fun, and original way to end a halo game where you die but still feel like you accomplished something as a hero.
According to the video, we hit 12 minutes on easy, there is just too many enemies and with Elite Generals coming the game turned into a sword fest, using the drop shield to breathe, on normal it’s already hard around 5 minutes.
Sadly there is hardly any good hiding spot and the playable area is small, that would be a better mission in a more firefight setting, with more enemies and vehicles, they could add Scarabs late to stop the player.
Now the firefight thing isn’t my idea, it’s a friend.
I usually just go to get the drop shield and sniper rifle and when it’s empty I switch to a plasma pistol or the assault rifle that is nearby, however I still get overwelmed by elites and don’t last long.
