I just completed the Composer on legendary.
Start to finish from rally point alpha without exiting, saving, or restarting.
Midnight is now u locked and playable, however I have not gotten completion credit for composer and no achievement.
This is not the first level that has hosed me over and had to replay. I do not want to replay solo missions, coop is next. I guess 343 does not value the hours I put I to the game? Come on already. Now I have to replay this and what if it happens again…
Does anyone know what’s up with this and how I can avoid a repeat?

It looks like when I reloaded to start from rally point alpha it did not replay the opening cinematic therefore I did not get the achievement for completion. What a joke. Joke on me after playing 2 hours for nothing.
Now I am afraid to even save and exit.
Can anyone confirm what the cause of this behavior is so it can be spotted or avoided? Is it a bug?
Yes, it is a bug. You just have to go back and recomplete the mission.
And I don’t know what you mean, Composer was one of the easier of the Legendary missions.
Thanks. I agree, this mission was a bit easier than some of the priors on legendary. In not sure what you mean.
I did have a hard time on the last segment with the wraiths and banshees until I realized I could sneak into a Mantis.
Could you elaborate on what the bug is so I do t repeat it on my next play through of Composer or on Midnight?
I replayed the level and got the completion achievement. Much easier the second time (even though it was one of the easier ones).
I am not a fan of this bug but I guess soon it won’t matter. In sure it may frustrate people who are new to Halo though even more so.
If still like to know what triggers it so I don’t run into it again as I finish up the missions on coop.
