So I’m having trouble unlocking the achievement for completing Halo 4 Legendary solo. Everything that tracks the achievement says I should have it. Mission select shows everything done, the achievement tracker in game says 8/8. Waypoint says I’ve done them all on Legendary solo and co-op and even the achievement app itself says 100%. What is really annoying me though is that it’s not the typical ‘Done Unlocking’ thing the Xbox One likes to do. Instead it says it’s locked but somehow still at 100%. If it did say ‘Done Unlocking’ then I’d know I would just have to wait but it seems something’s messed up.
I’ve waited 4-5 days, played through the majority of levels again, restarted my Xbox and even deleted and recovered my account and still not a thing. Nothing I do will unlock this achievement. It’s like it’s stuck in a strange limbo. Everyone else has problems with levels not counting and the tracker showing x/8 or everything done but it just saying ‘Done Unlocking’ but I’m in a special hell sandwich right in the middle.
I figured something went wrong when I finished the final level and the achievement didn’t pop. I checked the achievement app and it said 93% so I hard reset my console and it went to 100% but is not saying ‘Done Unlocking.’ I also had an achievement that was ‘Done Unlocking’ for about 6 months until I finally went back and did the requirements for it but that was just a single level specific one. Really annoyed as this is the last achievement I want to get (should get actually as I’ve done the requirement and also did it on the 360 version) before I delete the game from my hard drive. I guess this is my punishment for wanting to clear some hard drive space.
