I completed the campaign on solo legendary, but I set my xbox offline when I did it so I would not be disturbed by anybody. When I finished I thought I would be awarded the Mark VI Armor but when my profile is online it says in my commendations I haven’t even completed anything in campaign. Can’t it be smart enough to know I have already done it ? Please explain, anybody ?

I played the entire campaign solo legendary and right before the end i got disconnected from live and it gave me all the achievements and when i logged back on it says in my commendations that i havent completed Midnight. In my campaign menu it has everything completed Solo on legendary…
Hopefully this gets fixed, I loved the campaign, but not enough to play it again on solo legendary.
I’ve pretty much played the campaign 3 times cuz of this… First time I was offline… Second one I didn’t realize my connection cut out half way through mission 4… Third… Well let’s just say I’m a pro at killing knights now… It’s stupid the system couldn’t tell I beat all of them even withe the achievements to show
All of this on legendary
I hope to God this is a server issue and not an online requirement.
If there’s one thing that might keep me from playing the campaign on Legendary, it’d be this.
Me and a Friend of mine are un the exact same situation, after playing it through at a lan party we couldnt get our commendation and thus no Mark IV

To prevent cheating, commendation completion requires you to be connected to XBL.

You’re doing it wrong. Set your status as ‘Appear Offline’ and turn off notifications.
This will not be changed, trust me, so deal with it.
#1 HAS TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE
#2 CANNOT START FROM A CHECKPOINT
#3 HAS TO BE LEGENDARY
I did like this: I sat myself to “appear offline”, turned off “show notifications” loaded up Halo 4, brought up the spartan hub, went to settings, choose “my xbox 360” back to main screen, clicked the X button for rooster, higlighted my name by clicking the A button and then the RB button then its sat on privacy “open” and max players to “1”. The only problem it caused me was the mission “Infintity” for some unexplained reason it wouldn’t register that I had played it on Legendary, so I had to do that 3 times. A bit annoying when I had dubbled checked that I was on Legendary.
