So I just finished Halo 5 on solo legendary and the achievement didn’t pop. It says in-game that I have completed the game on solo legendary. Has anyone had any experience in getting the achievement to pop?
well, usually its about either not watching some cutscenes or credits but if you did watch those then im not sure what it could be. In Halo 3 some forgot to watch “the arrival” and got the achievement after watching it. Oh, and in H4 the achievement not unlocking (alongside with armor) was that they had played some levels offline when they played the rest online. So there is a few reasons. But if its not any of those, then its likely a glitch.
Heck, it hasn’t unlocked for me and I’ve completed it months ago. I’ve pretty much admitted that it’s a bugged achievement that I’ll never be able to unlock. Same thing with Vanquish. Played the hardest difficulty and said it in my profile, but didn’t unlock. Seems to me that Xbox has an issue with unlocking achievements.
Dang. There was just another thread saying the same thing. 93% stuck.

Your service record shows them all which is usually the problem. Evidently two missions weren’t tracked by the achievement tracker.
Best suggestion: remove your profile from the xbox and sign in again to redownload your data then relaunch the game and replay one of the walkthrough missions on legendary. If that doesn’t fix it… unfortunately I think you’ll need to replay missions until you find which two didn’t register
Try going to your service record/campaign and see if they are all complete. Maybe a couple of them didn’t register as completed.
