Go to 5:42 and try and get it right when the Flood Elite’s leg is coming out, you can tell it’s the Halo 3 one. I hope that clip is from an old build. It would be rage inducing if they ended up using the Halo 3 one whilst using the Reach Elites. I have hopes that it is an old clip considering the Infection forms, the Carrier forms and the Human Combat Form are all new models. I mean the proportions and armor aren’t even similar to the Reach Elites!

Do I really need to take screen shots? Just look at the lower leg armor and the feet and compare that to the Reach Elites. Also yes I see that they are using new sentinel models, they also have new models for the Infection and Carrier forms. I’m assuming that the clip is from an old build and they didn’t think anyone would notice, however I have an eye for these kinds of things.

No, I have not complained about one new model in CEA, only reused ones from other games. This one is the most perplexing of them all considering they are using the Reach Elites and the Halo 3 Elites have completely different proportions and armor from the Reach ones, not to mention completely different feet. Also don’t call people “kid” it makes you sound like an idiot.

Looking at the clip, it does seem to be the Halo 3 flood model with some upgraded textures, to which I say: who cares? We are getting this game for $40, and it’s got about as much, if not more, stuff as ODST or Halo 3. That’s a hell of a deal

Well you can’t even tell if it has upgraded textures. I’m assuming that it is just an old build. I highly doubt that nobody at 343 or Saber brought up the fact that they look nothing like the non infected Elites. I mean it would probably take all of 10 minutes to rip the legs and such off of the Reach Elite and slap them on the Halo 3 Elite Combat Form. Also the brand new Carrier and Infection form models make me doubt that it was from a recent build.

The video may contain footage from an old build, but considering the game has gone gold, it’s likely the model will not change, and honestly, it’s not a huge difference. If you’re going to let something so small ruin the experience for you, well, damn man.
