K, so when I went up to pick up my LE copy of Halo 4, the guy and I started talking about the stuff it came with, mainly the map pass, and how it was such a good deal, and how you save money. Then he asked me if I wanted to pre-order F*g Ops 2, I said no. Then while he scanned the game, he asked me, “Hey, do you want to buy the Halo 4 map pass? It comes with all the map packs!” I stared at the guy blankly for like ten seconds. WTF? We literally just talked about how the LE game came with the map pass! What do you want me to do? Buy it a second time for my grandma? So yeah, it was like he slipped in a trance and forgot about everything. Lol, do employees get brainwashed when they’re hired?
Long story short, gamestop dude went into Derp Mode™ and tried to sell me the same thing twice.
I’ve worked a Gamestop before. You gotta understand man. Those dudes are supposed to list off important sales and stuff to you EVERY TIME.
That dude probably blanked and just made sure to run through the list of things he needs to mention. They literally tend to hand out lists of crap you need to talk about.
He is a salesman and his boss wants him to make certain important sales often. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game.

I know, but I thought this was so funny, that I had to post it here.
I stopped shopping at GameStop when they sold me a “new” game that was not sealed for the third time, with a simple sticker over the side like pre owned ones. If you’re going to open games before selling them, I’m not buying them.
It’s all Best Buy for me now. A new game is in fact a new game there. Plus Reward Zone.

A month ago, I found every single Halo, including C.E. and 2, at my Best Buy.
Same thing happened to me, He told me “oh the Expensive one cool, Hey want to buy the Season pass?” I said dude that game edition includes exactly what you just offered me, He then read the box and said “Ooohhhh… sorry dude”,I swear this guy was baked out of his mind.

I know, right? Best Buy is actually great for gaming. Smaller line ups. More stock. SEALED GAMES. Reward Zone points and bonuses on new releases. Just awesome.
