I keep seeing threads about how ‘I can’t use my DMR’.

But honestly IMO I don’t even think the DMR is now underpowered I just think people need to adapt to a range where the gun is designed to be used, because honestly, the DMR was overpowered.

I feel its still a great long range wep against br and carbine users (unless you are like me and can cross map with the carbine)and great for killing light rifle at mid. Its is balanced now. ( ALL HAIL THE CARBINE!)

Dmr is still pretty much the exact same weapon. They only decreased the RRR by 5 meters…which is not alot.

In a way, I agree. I’m a DMR user myself, yet, the only thing that changed was the ROF. Everything else is the same.

I agree. DMR was PERFECTED from Reach’s version with faster RoF and less bloom. BR is my most used weapon. I had to “adapt” to using a weapon that kills slower AND has less range AND is less consistent. Now BR is exactly like it should have been. A perfected version of H2 and 3. It still has limited range and spread. The only thing DMR kids have to do is keep hitting those 5 shots LOL.

It’s still a sold weapon around the table. I get kills no problem with it against other rifles. Why? Because the game is far better balanced.

All I get from posts claiming the DMR is useless now is “I don’t want to take the time to learn how to use different guns in different situations”.

The DMR seems no different to me than it was in december.

No you get more kills with it because it is horribly easy to use.

I want to be a DMR user (wasn’t before because OP compared to the other rifles) but the LR/Carbine combination is too good

A weapon with reticule bloom is not easier to use than a spray and pray spam the trigger rifle. It’s a fact not an opinion.

Achieving the DMR max KT is way harder than achieving the BR max kill time. Again, this is a mathematical fact because bloom requires higher skill.

You were rewarded for getting close or a perfect 5 shot with the DMR.

Pacing you’re shot while being shot at, evading, strafing and so on is way harder than you guys make it out to be.

I think it depends on the skill of yourself and what you prefer to be honest.

I just got done explaining this in one of the threads. I wont go through it all, it’s a wall o text, but suffice to say, it summed up to “Weapons have roles and maps cater to certain roles. Adapt and apply with force”
